Introduction:

Annapurna Circuit Trek a magnificent adventure which leads you both sides around North and South of whole Annapurna range of mountains within close views of Dhaulagiri and Manaslu range in the comfort of nice and cozy lodge on route trekking.

Annapurna Circuit Trek listed as world’s top ten adventure destination by several travel magazines and guide books including Lonely Planet, truly a great spectacular destination as the walk leads you to fascinating villages full of rich culture and custom around high Manang valley where people are of Tibetan origin interwoven with Buddhist religions.

Probably this one of the few treks where views of mountains never cease to end, starting with a scenic drive to reach our trekking point by the Marysangdi River at Besisar and Syange around Lamjung district and then heading beyond to reach at Dharapani, where our actual adventure begins with a walk in cooler alpine areas of serene forest lined with rhododendron-pines-hemlocks-oaks and fir trees and passing many interesting villages adorned with Buddhist prayer and images.

After days of walking reaching high Manang valley with tremendous views of Annapurna and Damodar Himal as the green vegetations drops for short bushes of juniper and azalea plants on high and arid terrain of pure arctic zone.

Annapurna circuit trek will go through the Manang village with lovely time exploring its traditional villages and monasteries our walk leads higher towards the highest point of the adventure on top of Thorang-la pass at 5,416 m high offering breathtaking views of Annapurna-Damodar and Dhaulagiri mountain range, and then a long descend leads past holy Muktinath and Jomsom town around Mustang district.

View of Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri’s follows along Kaligandki valley as the walk leads through apple country of Marpha and Tukuche to reach at hot-spring village of Tatopani, and finally a big climb leads at Ghorepani with Poon Hill view point where you catch stunning views of sunrise with array of mountain range.

Finally our long walk of the adventure ends with downhill to warmer rice growing areas for the drive to scenic Pokhara, blessed with rolling hills and mountains including serene lakes here with overnight stops for the drive back to Kathmandu to conclude this marvelous and scenic adventure Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu via respective airlines and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03: Drive to Dharapani 1,860 m – 07 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Chame 2,670 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Pisang village 3,200 m – 05 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Manang village 3,760 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Rest day in Manang for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 08: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,010 m – 04 hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Thorang High Camp 4,925 m via Phedi 4,450 m – 04 hrs.
Day 10: Trek and cross Thorang-la 5,416 m and descend to Muktinath 3,760 m – 06 hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Marpha 2,670 m via Jomsom – 06 hrs.
Day 12: Trek to Lete 2,400 m – 06 hrs.
Day 13: Trek to Tatopani (hot-spring) 1,190 m – 06 hrs.
Day 14: Trek to Ghorepani 2,860 m – 06 hrs.
Day 15: Hike to Poon Hill and continue trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,440 m – 05 hrs.
Day 16: Trek to Nayapul 1,070 m and drive to Pokhara 860 m – 05 hrs.
Day 17: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu afternoon free at leisure.
Day 18: International departure homeward bound.

Day 01: Reach Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On reaching Kathmandu International Airport received by our staff and guide with warm welcome then a short drive to your hotel in the main areas of Kathmandu city, here joining with other members of Annapurna Circuit trekking, our guide will brief with full information about the trek - hotels-culture with do’s and don’ts, include welcome dinner in a nice Nepali restaurant with folk programs.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
As per the given time for sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, after breakfast our city and tour guide will pick you with short interesting drive for an impressive and exciting tour, Kathmandu although a metropolitan city retaining its ancient culture and traditions, where most of the World Heritage Sites are located for your interest, includes medieval period custom and culture as it was for hundreds of centuries, Kathmandu valley a blend of Buddhism and Hinduism in perfect harmony, after an interesting tour afternoon free preparation for Annapurna Circuit

Day : 03 Drive to Dharapani 1,860 m via Bhesisar - 07hrs.
Our Annapurna Circuit trekking starts with an exciting drive on Nepal’s busy highway to reach at Bhesisar a large town headquarter of Lamjung district. After Bhesisar taking another vehicle for the rough and interesting ride towards mid hills following Marysangdi River past Khudi, Bulbule, Nagdi villages to reach at Syange village.

From here leaving the river behind drive climbs on steep road to reach at Jagat and Chamje village and then on scenic road to Dharapani village for overnight stop where the air is cooler with alpine temperature. This nice village located on the mid way of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu route.

Day 04: Trek to Chame 2,670 m - 05 hours.

Morning walk leads on winding trail into rhododendron and pine forest past Bagarchap and Danque village, then with steep climb for few hours to Timang village with views of Manaslu-Lamjung and Annapurna II. From here onward walk leads to complete Buddhist villages of interesting culture and old traditions.

From Timang village downhill to Koto and then a short slow uphill to reach at large Chame town for overnight stop, Chame a major and headquarter town of Manang district.

Day 05: Trek to Pisang 3, 200 m - 05 hrs.

Adventure continues from Chame heading into cooler zone and closer to mountainous region, as the morning walk leads into lovely alpine forest of rhododendron and pine trees, following Marshyangdi River upstream with short ups and down hills to Bhartang village.

After Bhartang village on crossing a bridge over torrential Marysangdi River heading uphill through alpine woodlands with views of Chulu’s and Pisang peaks, then reach at a small settlement around Dukuri Pokhari for possible lunch stop.

Afternoon walk downhill to lower Pisang village for overnight stop after passing rows of prayer wheels with closest views of Pisang and Annapurna II peaks.

Day 06: Trek to Manang Village 3540m - 05 hrs.

From Pisang village with nice walk for short while and then a gradual climb into forest of pines and rhododendron to reach a small ridge with amazing views of beautiful Manang valley

and mountains. After enjoying rest with the views walk downhill to Hongde village with a small airstrip , from here on tree lines fades to barren and arid dry terrain.

Trek with super views to Manang, on route visit old Braga monastery with old Buddhist relics and then an hour walk brings at Manang village for overnight stop.

Afternoon at leisure for short walk or just relax and enjoy the views of close snowcapped peaks

Around Manang villages houses are built in traditional Tibetan style and origin as Manang people with strong Tibetan influence including culture-Buddhist religion and way of life.

Day 07: Rest day at Manang for short excursion and acclimatization.

A perfect and ideal place with right attitude for rest day to get acclimatized before heading towards higher Thorang-la, a leisure day to explore around Manang village and hike to Annapurna II and Gangapurna Icefalls and glaciers including Manang turquoise glacial Lake. 

Day 08: Trek to Yak Kharka 4,010 m - 04 hours.

After a pleasant stop at Manang, morning walk leads to Ghunsang village with gradual climb to reach a small settlement at Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude walk with super views of Gangapurna-A II with Chulu peaks, after few hours of scenic morning walk reaching at overnight stop at Yak Kharka. Afternoon enjoy the mountain views at leisure.
