The off beaten track of the trek of Annapurna Ghale gaun starts from Khudi. Walking through the main trial of Marsyangdi River we will be in beautiful and traditional gurung community village of Ghale gaon (2070m). Ghale Gaun is only the place in Nepal where there can be the full enjoyment of typical gurung culture and life style. From ghale gaun we will march toward Ghan pokhara. This place is also so much interesting. Here also we can learn many things with the beauty of nature. Lastly after roaming all trekking destination of Annapurna Ghale Gaun trek we will return back to Khudi to end our trek.

Annapurna Ghale Gaun trek does not have many trekking destination and the difficult path, so this trekking is considered as easy trekking. Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival and Check-in to the Hotel

The representatives from Nepal High Trek Pvt. Ltd. will welcome you at TIA. Then we will take you towards the hotel arranged by our company for the overnight stay. We will have discussion about trekking with delicious dinner.

Day 02:  Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

Our first task of the day is to take trekking permit. Then we will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. Some of them are Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest and holiest Hindu temple; Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch we will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square where Kumari temple can be seen, the temple of Living goddess.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Khudi (790m) – 7 Hours

Today we drive to Khudi via Bimalnagar early morning. In route, we can hike to Siddha Cave from Bimalnagar. We can also visit Buddhist Monasteries and walk along the Marsyangdi River. We will have opportunity to explore the local culture and lifestyle of people. We stay overnight at a guest house.

Day 04: Trek from Khudi to Ghalegaun (2070m) – 5 Hours

Our starting point for our walking trek will be Khudi. Observing the splendid views of mountains which include Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, the beautiful river valleys, we are heading for Ghalegaon. Ghalegaon offers you typical gurung Himalayan culture and lifestyle.

Day 05: Trek from Ghalegaun to Ghanpokhara (2150m) – 3 Hours

After exploring the entire places over Ghalegaon village, we hike up to Ghanpokhara. We will be at Ghan pokhara after walking approximately 2 hours from Ghalegaon. We will be refreshed with the beautiful sunrise view and surrounding mountains from Ghan pokhara. The leisure time will be spending for village tour.

Day 06: Trek from Ghanpokhara to Khudi (790m) – 5 Hours

Today will be our returning day. After having a beautiful village tour, we return back to Khudi today. Waterfall and caves on the way will be so much impressive. The construction site of Khudi Hydro Electricity Project can be seen on the way. Our night will be at a guesthouse.

Day 07: Drive from Khudi to Kathmandu

Early morning we drive to Kathmandu via Bimalnagar. In route, we can hike to Siddha Cave from Bimalnagar. We will be in Kathmandu after a drive of about 7 hours. If time allows, then we will spend remaining time to explore the Kathmandu city or shopping.

Day 8: Final Departure                                                

After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We will attend a small farewell program organized by Nepal High Trek Pvt. Ltd. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.

Q. Will somebody come to pick me up at the airport upon my arrival?

A. Absolutely! Our Airport Representative will come to the airport to pick you up. Outside of Terminal Hall, he will be displaying a play card of Nepal Everest Base Camp  Treks with your name on it.

Q. What type of accommodation do I expect while I am in Kathmandu & Mountain?

A. Excellent!! Our company will provide you five star category hotels in Kathmandu Radission Hotel and Del’ Annapurna or similar category with inclusive breakfast & best available accommodation duration the trekking as per your programs.

Q. What type of shape do I need to be for this trip?

A. This is suitable for average people who are good health & moderately fit, thus no previous experience is required however to get condition for this trip, some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, hiking is recommended before you embark on journey. Person who is suffering from pre-existing diseases must seek medical advice with your doctor before considering the any trekking in Nepal. Whilst on the trek, it is common to experience some discomfort before being fully acclimatized.

Q. What is the best time for Trek?

A. We recommend you anytime between 15th February to 15th June in spring & 15th September to 10th December in autumn and spring season is the best time for trek, however, rest of the months are okay and trekking can be done but not as much as nice comparing those season due to winter & raining respectably.But when you will be get leisure time that we can provide prime and suitable trip for you.

Q. Is the food/water safe to drink during the trek?

A. During in mountain, your expert guide will advise you on what you should and shouldn’t eat and drink. The food at the places you will be staying is all safe to eat. Water you can buy bottled or bring along purification tablets. Every lodges/guest house also serve both boiled and filtered water on cheaper price for you to treat accordingly.

Q. I am alone ! Can I join in group?

A. Yes, Most of the guest houses you can recharge your camera batteries along the trek approximately cost you USD 2-3 per hour.

Q. What is the weather & temperature like in mountain?

A. Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. At night it is generally cooler the days are generally warm. There will be snow during the month of December and February. It is important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected! The temperature could be as high as 21 deg C to -10 deg C low.
