Brief Itinerary of Tour

Day1. Arrival to Kathmandu

Day 02: Sight-seeing tour around Kathmandu

Day 03: Kathmandu to Chitwan 4 to 5 hours

Day 04: Sightseeing tour around Chitwan

Day 05: Drive from Chitwan to Lumbini about 4 hours

Day 06: Sightseeing tour around Lumbini. Stay overnight at the hotel in Lumbini.

Day 07: Drive from Lumbini to Palpa Tansen. Stay overnight at the hotel in Tansen.

Day 08: Drive from Palpa to Pokhara about 3 hours

Day 09: Excursion in and around Pokhara. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 10: Drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot for sunrise view and return back to Kathmandu.

Details Itinerary

After landing the flight at TIA, a representative of Nepal High Trek & Expedition will warmly receive you and will move towards the hotel arranged by Nepal High Trek & Expedition. We will enjoy a delicious dinner at night with a brief description of the upcoming trekking program to Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lumbini, and Pokhara tour.
Today, we spend the whole sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley with a guide. After having breakfast, we visit Pashupatinath, which is regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva then to Bauddhanath known as Little Tibet. From Bauddhanath, we visit Swayambhunath known as Monkey Temple which is an ancient religious place for Buddhists. After Swayambhunath, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. Finally, you will have dinner at hotel and stay there overnight.
We will take a drive to Chitwan. It takes us about 4 to 5 hours. After reaching there we will have Lunch. Then we will visit Tharu village, Elephant stable, Visitor Center and Sunset view point. After that we will return back to hotel and have dinner. Again we will watch Tharu stick dance about 1 hour.
Today we will spend whole day doing sightseeing in Chitwan. Firstly we will visit around Chitwan National Park. We can enjoy the perfect habitat of wildlife. Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned Rhino, Gharial crocodile, Asian Elephant, Sloth bear, Leopard etc. are some of the important animals of this national park. After that we will do enjoying activities like Canoe Trip, Bird Watching, Jungle Drive, Nature Walk, Elephant Breeding, Village tour, Cultural Program, Elephant safari and Crocodile Walk. Then we will return back to hotel to stay night.
From Chitwan, we will move to Lumbini the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It takes approximately about 4 hours. There we can see broken Ashoka Pillar, remnants of an old monastery, and images of Buddha’s mother Maya Devi. Lumbini is situated at the southwest of Rupandehi. In Lumbini Bhojpuri and Tharu are the main cultures.
Today we will explore whole Lumbini. Sacred Garden spread over 8 sq km and possessing all the treasure of the historic area is the main attraction of Lumbini. We will explore and get knowledge about Ashoka Pillar, remnants of old monastery, Mayadevi temple, Astha Dhatu (relics), and so on.
After visiting whole Lumbini, we will have half day tour of Palpa Tansen. It is situated at a hill called Shreengar Danda. Tansen is a bright Himalayan Town. Over here we can enjoy Dhaulagiri in the west and Gauri Shanker in the north east. Then we will return to hotel, have dinner and stay night.
From Palpa we will move to Pokhara the beautiful valley. It takes approximately about 3 hours. There we can see broken rare combination of snow clad peaks, snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make the Valley of Pokhara. Then we will stay in one of the best hotel in lakeside area.
Early in the morning we will wake and view the rising sun. Then we will have breakfast. After that we will hire boat, visit the island temple in the middle of the lake, the eastern shore, popularly known as Lakeside or Baidam, the favorite haunt of all travelers’ restaurants, handicraft shops and other tourist site area. Again we will visit Begnas Lake, Mahendra Gupha and Devil’s fall.
And finally we will drive from Pokahra to Kathmandu. Early morning, we will go to Sarangkot for sunrise view. On a clear weather morning, the view of the Western Range of Himalayas is just superb. Return to Pokhara, have lunch and proceed to Kathmandu.
After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to march ourselves towards TIA. We have to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. We will attend a small farewell program organized by Nepal High Trek & Expedition. After then we will catch the flight to return back to the home country. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.
