It has been 16 years and more in the field of Nepal Trekking for me. People come and trek with me to various parts of Nepal. However, I get lots of questions from clients. The usual question is about Annapurna Base Camp Trekking difficulty and EBC Trek difficulty. Therefore, I am writing this blog hoping to give answers properly to all aspiring trekkers across the globe.
Trekking refers to walking on the trail usually in the hilly and mountain region. The word is a synonym for hiking as well. However, people assume hiking is a short walking activity while trekking is a long walking activity. Over the years the travel trend is changing across the globe. Nowadays, people prefer to walk to the base camp of mountains or through green lush forests. Nepal is getting lots of trekkers every year for various treks around the Himalayas. The main reason behind the increase in trekkers in Nepal is the presence of mountains. Out of 14 eight thousand meter height mountains, 8 are present in Nepal. The trekking journey to the base camp of the Annapurna mountains is very popular and ideal.
People often consider trekking as a difficult walking activity. However, you must know that difficulty will not become a topic if you are with a reliable travel companion. Moreover, if you have complete information about the trail, half of the difficulty level decreases. There are many myths regarding the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking difficulty or other treks in Nepal. However, you need to be careful while trekking in monsoon season. During this time of the year, there is a high chance of floods and landslides.
