  4. Trekkers and Mountaineers must obtain a visa before arrival through their Travel and Trekking agencies.
  5. Trekkers and mountaineers also must have booked hotels for 7 days to quarantine in Nepal.
  6. Trekkers and Mountaineers must have insurance of at least USD 5000 against COVID-19.
  7. Trekkers and Mountaineers should have a PCR test on the fifth day of quarantine for their own expenses.

Transportation Facilities during COVID-19 in Nepal

  1. Domestic Flights have resumed, including full seating ability. Flights will operate under strict COVID mitigation measures.
  2. Public transportation including taxis, buses, and some long-distance buses are operated at half occupancy. ( note: marks are essential for outdoors including on public transport and taxis)
