Hiring a guide in Lukla for the Everest Base Camp Trek is a bit tricky. In fact, it is a gamble; you may get an outstanding guide or a worse one. The reason behind this extreme is that there are numerous locals waiting to serve the trekkers. Among these people, there are some who have got the Nepal Government license as well as have a sense of hospitality. However, there are also some of the people who have got the experience but don’t have the license as well as the sense of hospitality.

Everest Base Camp Guided Trek

Had an amazing 21 day trek from Jiri to EBC through Nepal High Trek. Anjan was extremely helpful and easy to work with throughout the planning phases of the trip. He helped me build out a custom itinerary and always responded quickly to any questions I had. The guide for my trek was Phul Gurung who is an amazing guide and person. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. He offered to carry some of my pack weight after my knee started having issues (I did not bring any porters) and making the trek without him would have been much more difficult. My wife went as part of a separate medical training group and during the days we met up, Phul treated her as if she was his client always making sure she had everything she needed. I hope to do another Nepal trek in a couple years and fully plan to reach out to Anjan to arrange it and ask for the same guide.

Short Everest Base Camp Trek

I just came back from the 10-day EBC, and I’m super happy with everything provided by Anjan and his team. Since the first interaction a few months before the trek, Anjan has been extremely helpful and responsive, accommodating a data change as well. The trek was an amazing experience. Despite being quite hard, yes, you need a certain level of preparation for the EBC trek. It is not a walk in the forest but rather a strenuous trek. Suraj, the guide, was also great; he was very knowledgeable of the area and always ready to help. He managed to always find a solution, ensuring that despite the inclement weather, I would still have the best experience.

Everest Base Camp Trek

I would highly recommend the Nepal High Trek & Expedition Team. We did the 14 Days Everest base camp trek in April 2023 with NHT. My friend Wolf and me was over 60 years old men but we completed the trip without AMS and any hassle. The team was perfect and professional that having planned the trip program and amending to our requirements and desire.

Anjan was a trip planner and he designed the perfect trip program. He has responded very quickly to any questions and I felt very comfortable with his communication as well. However, we’re very content with the mentioned services and this local team. We got very clean accommodations and delicious meals during the trek. Furthermore, they provided us with seasonal fruits every day. If you’re considering to trip to Nepal highly prefer a professional mountain guide PAWAN. He was brilliant, smiling, and experienced too.

Thank you, everyone, for your unforgettable memories and perfect hospitality.

Everest Base Camp Trek

I traveled with another guy to Nepal in March – April 2022 and used Nepal High Trek team for all logistics and they handled everything with great care. Our trek was to be of the 3 High Passes.
My hiking partner had some difficulty at altitude however the team worked diligently to get a helicopter in and transport him to a hospital. While many try to get by with the least expensive guide team they can it’s important to know that when the “stuff hits the fan” the guides can handle the issue. I was able to complete all 3 passes and EBC as well as some excellent “side trips” during acclimatization days. I am giving thought to going back for 2 months and if I go I’ll for sure use Nepal High Trek team again. No issues, no worries!!
