Trip overview

Pike Peak Trek is an exclusive adventure that leads to the hidden pockets of the southern region of Everest. The area falls within the Solu-Khumbu district around Nepal Mid-East, and the trekking trails are quite raw. Where few groups of trekkers seldom venture into this remote and isolated country of Solu. An enjoyable walk on a less-visited path, the villagers hardly come across western travelers passing through their villages.

A Perfect Hike and Stunning Views of the Himalayas

Short Pike Peak Trek is a perfect country walk for all interested people of all age groups. Without a problem of catching AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness), which is common around high altitude trekking, around the Himalayas. The charm of Pike View Point Hill Trekking is walking on a tranquil path in the harmony of natural surroundings. The trek follows through rural farm villages and into an enchanting forest lined with tall rhododendron, magnolia, and pine trees.

During spring, the whole hills will be lively with wildflowers in seasonal bloom, especially the rhododendron of various species. Making the whole area a natural garden of Eden, for nature lovers, it will be a perfect paradise. The trek follows beyond farm villages, after a long exciting drive from Kathmandu to Phaplu village. The walk leads toward a wilderness of high hills and lush vegetation and dense forest reaching the base of Pike Hill. An early morning start heading for a long climb of a few hours till the top of Pikey Hill is reached. From the top enjoy the glorious sunrise over Himalayan peaks with views of Mt. Everest in the northeast direction.

A spectacular panorama of more than 360° wide views of the Central and Eastern Himalayan chain of peaks. After a refreshing morning hike head back to the base of Pikey, as the walk leads on an alternative route. An enjoyable trek through a lovely farm village and then reaching a nice Sherpa village at Junbesi. From Junbesi explore the village of impressive Buddhist culture and then on a gradual trail to Phaplu. Where our marvelous Pike Peak Trek ends, before taking an interesting drive back to Kathmandu.
