This was our first time visiting Nepal and felt welcomed from the start. Communication with the Anjan was excellent and he was very flexible with last minute flight changes. We had the most incredible time with Arbind and our fabulous porter Tenzing. From airport pick up to the very end, Arbind never ceased to make us smile and ready for the day. The days were long and hard, but Arbind was always prepared with snacks, a pep talk, and a funny story to keep morale high. He was an utmost professional, even monitoring the pass weather and suggesting we push forward a day ahead to ensure that we were able to safely cross the pass! One day, my husband wanted to go to Manaslu Base Camp, so Tenzing, our porter (who is working to become a guide), took me separately to a lake! I cannot recommend this company and these people enough. Reading reviews before we booked, I thought there was no way they were actually that good, but turns out they were even better than I could have imagined!

Communication with Anjan was very smooth. Services and prices very transparent. Extremely reliable company. Our guide, Indako, was a wealth of information, appropriately safely conscious, and always fun and in great spirits. He had warm, personal relationships with so many of the men and women who hosted us in the guest houses, so it was really fun gathering around the heating stove in the common room from late afternoon through dinner until an early bedtime. Our porter, Tarche, was almost my age (65) and also warm and friendly. He hefted 20kg or more up and down without breaking a sweat.There are many companies to choose from—all the 5-star reviews you read for Nepal High Trek are well deserved.Langtang Valley is a fantastic and varied trek, an out and back, first through a forest teeming with monkeys with the roaring river as a constant companion. Then the Himalayas come into view and it’s simply spectacular. It’s not “easy,” but it was do-able for someone my age in decent shape with decent joints. Slowly, slowly you go as the altitude increases. Just challenging enough, I’d say.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience than I had with Anos and Tenjen as my guide and porter on the Annapurna Circuit. From day one to the very end, everything ran incredibly smoothly — no problems, no stress, just a well-organized and enjoyable journey through some of the most incredible mountains on earth.Anos delivered truly top-tier service the entire time. Every detail was handled with care, from pacing and daily planning to making sure I was comfortable, safe, and well looked after. I always felt informed about what to expect each day, and completely confident in his experience and decision-making. That peace of mind made a huge difference, especially at higher elevations. We have just finished our trek with Arbind from Nepal High Trek and had a wonderful experience.The teahouses we stayed in were cozy – I particularly enjoyed the fires in the dining room at night. Arbind also ensured that we had extra blankets at night, so we stayed extra warm in our room.The food available at the teahouses catered for our fussy 5- and 8-year-olds as well as for adults. Arbind also bought snacks along the way to surprise the kids when they needed a pick-me-up.The length of the trip was perfect as an introductory hike in the Himalayas. The kids found the trek challenging, but Arbind was always encouraging and helped to lift the kids’ spirits (especially as the 5-year-old pretended to be a car on a racetrack for most of the trek). Arbind also carried our 5-year-old’s bag the whole way.The trail was reasonably quiet (being the off season) and everyone we met (locals and fellow trekkers) were very friendly.Communication from Anjan and Arbind was always top notch.Thanks to Arbind and Nepal High Trek for a great trip!

Coming into this trek, we were all a little nervous; but, we have never been more blessed by a group of people. Our guide, Suman was the best thing to ever happen to our group here in Nepal. His knowledge, attitude, and character was central to our positive experience. We never felt unsafe or not taken care of. Our porters, Yogesh and DP, became some of our best friends. There was never a spare moment without laughter with our group.Throughout our trek, we conquered some of the highest mountain passes in the world and our guide, Suman, was always looking out for us. He helped us maintain a pace that we could recover from at such a high altitude, but also matched our fitness.Thank you so much Nepal High Trek for giving us the most amazing experience. Our experience doing the Three High Passes was incredible! Our guide Suman was so knowledgeable about the area. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend trekking with Nepal High Trek and Expedition. I went on the 4 day Mardi Himal Trek with my guide Anos who was an incredible guide. Anos was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, very experienced and communicative (he is also very funny!). He repeatedly went above and beyond to make my trip memorable. The trek included accommodation, permits, transportation, food, snacks, and a guide, along with other things. I really appreciated the flexibility in schedule, timing and overall experience. I will definitely be booking with Nepal High Trek and Expedition (and hopefully Anos) during my next time in Nepal. 10/10 recommend.

We did the Mardi Himal trek, 4 nights and 5 days. We booked via WhatsApp and had all our questioned answered, we were also able to ask to have sleeping bags, coats and sticks included so we didn’t need to rent them. Our guide was called Shyam and we really enjoyed his company, by the end of the trip he felt more like a friend than a guide. He helped us understand the culture of Nepal better and was very good at providing snacks, moral support (when the trek was tough) and also amended the itinerary as needed. We walked faster on one of the days than initially planned so we stayed in a different tea house higher up and this was no problem. It was great that he was flexible and we didn’t have to stick to the itinerary day to day. He was great at taking photos too! We were able to order any food we wanted for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had plenty of hot drinks too. We had a private room to sleep in every night which meant we could relax in the evenings. The hike with Nepal Hike Trek was amazing. I have been to many different hikes in other countries with different companies but the service provided by NHT was on the next level. They will go the extra mile to fulfill whatever request that you have. The guides always made sure that we are comfortably settled down first at each lodging before they themselves rested.Ample guides were assigned to follow each group with different hiking abilities.Vibes 10/10More importantly the guides were funny, lively and always full of energy, making the tiring hike a really fun and enjoyable experience. I really enjoyed fooling and joking around with the guides. They also taught us many things about local traditions, such as dancing and singing, which we did many times together during the hike. I’m a beginner hiker and I was nervous about this trip at first. But the moment we landed at the airport, we were greeted with garlands and friendly reassuring hospitality from our guides and organizers. They settled everything from our transport to lodging, and even the most particular food orders. They laboured to serve us, not only leading the trek, but supporting us emotionally when we felt discouraged, allowing each of us to take our own pace while ensuring the safety of the entire group (took so much on the spot coordination). On top of that, their sensitivity to our needs was impeccable, making sure we had our meals before them, getting extra support if we fell sick, taking on extra loads, working overtime, and sharing about their rich cultural knowledge of their land through art, music and dance. From the very beginning, the communication was exceptional — every question I had while planning the trip and upon arrival in Nepal was answered promptly and thoroughly. Couldn’t recommend Nepal High Trek enough to anyone. More specifically, Suraj! Having Suraj as our guide made everything smooth, safe and exciting. Whilst our trip was almost altered due to the weather, Suraj stayed on top of weather reports and ensured we could have the best experience yet also the safest. He wasn’t afraid to make tough calls when it came to our safety. We had conversations about possibly changing the trek for our best experience. Thankfully we were able to go ahead with the original plan when the weather cleared up.Suraj made excellent decisions on the tea houses we stayed at. The comfortability, quality of food and amenities were extremely accommodating and made the stays very easy.Throughout the trek, our physical condition was always monitored by Suraj aswell as ensuring we were properly equipped for the high altitudes. By constantly reminding us of how much water we need to be consuming each day and how much to pack. What was safe to drink and what wasn’t. His knowledge and love for his job is second to none. This is hands-down the best company to work with if you are planning a trip to Nepal. It was immediately clear to me that the owner, Anjan, took pride in his company and was very helpful and diligent in his communications from start to finish. What I didn’t realize until later is how much Anjan cares about his people. When you work with this company, you are truly supporting a village, as Anjan provides opportunities for incredible people in his village where work is otherwise scarce. If you are socially conscious, you can feel great supporting this company and its mission. And then there was my guide, Bibash. I do not have enough superlatives to describe my experience with him! He is knowledgeable, humble, caring, kind, funny, and a great singer to boot! He worked his way up from being a porter, which again speaks to the opportunities Anjan provides, and the strong work ethic Bibash displayed clearly came from a place of deep humility. The company has great relationships throughout the region, and I was able to meet other incredible people and have unique experiences because of those connections. No need to look any further for a better company to work with, as you will not find one!

We completed the Manaslu Circuit Trek in November 2025 with our wonderful Nepal High Trek guide, Nabin. We can’t say enough good things about Nabin and owe our great experience to him. He anticipated all of our needs and was extremely resourceful! Anytime we needed something, he was already on it. It was clear he had good connections and was always doing his best to make sure we had the best accommodation options. Nabin always had a positive and upbeat attitude, which really helped on harder days where we were feeling especially tired and sore. He was also very patient with us given that we were very slow and faced many challenges including issues adjusting to the altitude. We never felt rushed or pressured to move faster and he supported us through the ups and downs. Nabin took excellent care of us and we are very grateful to know him and to have had this experience with him! We hiked the Manaslu Circuit Trek in November 2025– it was truly a once in a lifetime experience!! Our tour was 11 days (13 days total with arrival and departure) and it was the perfect amount of time to challenge ourselves physically while experiencing the natural beauty of the off-road trail.An unexpected highlight of our trip was our guide, Arbind! We met him at the airport when we first arrived and he truly went above and beyond expectations the entire trek. While we are not beginner hikers, this was our first multi-day trek together and he worked to adjust to our paces and check in with us at various obstacles. The evening biscuits and pomegranate seeds really showed how much he values the little things, while still handling the big items like our paperwork and permits. He coordinated well with our porter, Dolje, who made sure our extra gear always got to our lodging safely.I would recommend the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal High Trek for anyone who wants to challenge themselves with some high altitude hiking, experience the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas, and maybe learn some local songs on the Jeep ride back from the trailhead.

We spent 10 amazing days trekking to Gokyo Ri, and it was truly a wonderful experience! The scenery was breathtaking – majestic mountains, turquoise lakes, and beautiful little villages along the way.The sunrise from Gokyo Ri, with a view of the 8,000-meter peaks - Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse – is a moment we will never forget. The turquoise glow of Gokyo Lake in the morning light was simply impressive.A huge thank you to our guide Ramesh, who made the trip so special. He was extremely kind, caring, and reliable, always found cozy lodges with beautiful rooms for us. We felt safe and well looked after the entire time – both on the way up and down.We also had a lot of fun together, and by the end of the trek, our guide had become a true friend.An unforgettable adventure that we can recommend to everyone!

I was extremely satisfied with Nepal High Trek! I booked my trip 6 months in advance and Nepal High Trek was very helpful in the planning of my trip. Anjan, the owner, helped me figure out what equipment I would need to bring, and they provided the rest of the supplies that I did not have. From the moment they picked me up at the airport, my time with Nepal High Trek was enjoyable and accommodating.They prepared me with an itinerary of how we would complete the Annapurna circuit and outlined all of my meals and lodging (they pick out the highest quality tea houses for you to stay in along the trail). Indako, my guide, quickly became one of my life long friends! He made the trek fun and was always looking out for my safety. We spent a lot of time hiking and sharing our cultures, experiences, and jokes with each other. Some of the most beautiful and notable parts of our trek were coming across some mountain puppies, seeing Heaven’s Gate on the trail, seeing lots of waterfalls, singing & dancing, playing billiards on an apple farm, taking pictures of all the mountain flowers, hiking up to Tilicho Lake and back (best scenery of the whole trek), listening to music while we hiked, sharing meals together, grabbing drinks in Pokhara, meeting all the mountain animals, and learning about the annual hunt for yarsagumba (each year the Nepalese come to the mountains at the end of May to search for the rare caterpillar-fungus.We got to try it out!). We made lots of friends along the way and I learned a lot about Nepalese culture and the Annapurna Circuit. There was never a moment that I was unhappy on this trip. Compared to other trekkers, I felt that Indako and Anjan did the best job of finding the best accommodations and making the experience enjoyable overall. This was the most fun hike I have ever done, and I am planning on returning to Nepal High Trek to complete other mountain circuits!! We could not have asked for a better experience trekking to ABC and would highly recommend Nepal High Trek & Expedition. Our guide, Surya, and our porter, Rajinder, are amazing people and we had a wonderful time trekking with them. Surya was an expert guide who made us feel comfortable and at ease with his wealth of knowledge. He was also very flexible and accommodating throughout the trip. Also important to note that he is a wonderful photographer and took some of the best photos of our trip. One of the highlights of the trip for us was getting to know Surya and Rajinder and learning more about Nepal during our trek. It’s hard to adequately put into words what this trip meant to us but it wouldn’t have been the meaningful experience that it was without Nepal High Trek and it’s staff. We cannot wait to book another adventure with Nepal High Trek in the future.

We really enjoyed our trek Manaslu circuit with a super great guide Santa Gurung and a super great porter Dambar Lama. We had a marvellous time walking through the valleys, different sorts of forests, villages, historical monasteries and mainly beautiful mountains. We enjoyed the views and also every different sort of weather was interesting. Accommodation was great and we could also speak to the residents and try their local food everywhere.This company is reliable, kind and they appreciate their clients. Also they don’t hesitate to help you with any problems as missed flight or high altitude sickness. Also they are able to lend you a warm jacket (with their Merch). I would highly recommend doing the tour we just finished. First of all, communication with Nepal High Trek via Whatsapp before the trip was very good meaning we started well prepared. Secondly, the price is competitive compared to other tour providers. Then the tour is also flexible, we could adjust it according to our needs.The tour itself is simply wonderful. It’s a great mixture between beautiful valleys, mountains and local villages. I will truly never forget these 10 days. Living and trekking in the Himalays is something I would recommend anyone seeking adventure, nature and culture.Then regarding our guide and porter: Sap and Kaidong. They have taken very good care of us. We’ve had a lot of fun with them the last 10 days. At the same time, they were always making sure we were having a good time and checking in on us. Lastly, they were fully flexible. When it suddenly snowed heavily during one day and night, we adapted our plans. Sap was responsible and flexible. I would highly recommend these two. I’ve always felt safe and I’ve laughed a lot. The perfect combination if you ask me. Finally, we’ve met several guides of the company (Durga, Buddhi) and you could tell you’d have a very good time with them as well. Like where do I even start on how utterly perfect this entire experience was? From the start, we were nervous as we had never been to Nepal before or done a trek of this length/elevation gain. Anjan made sure the second we arrived in Kathmandu and got settled that we met with him and our guide, Suman, to go through the entire trip and gear list.We weren’t missing any gear, but if we had been they had all materials available to borrow. From the first private jeep ride to Macha Kola. Our final goodbyes everything was professionally done above and beyond. Suman, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable, excitable, and completely badass. Our group had a wide array of ability levels, and longstanding injuries to take into account but there was never a time Suman lost his optimism and his laughter – even when we were too tired to speak. He promised to get all of us, as a team, up to Manaslu Base Camp and Larkya La Pass – both of which he did with flying colors. There was never a question he couldn’t answer about the region, he always provided the utmost service, and he’s damn good at cards.Even down to our incredible porter, Akkul, Anjan and his staff exceeded any and all expectations.Thank you, Nepal High Trek! We will be using you again, but next time all the way to the summit.

I had the most amazing time on my trek through Langtang Valley and added Yala peak! Denja was my guide and he was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable on the area and trail; always making me feel super comfortable and very well looked after – he even helped carry some of my gear. It was so nice to get to know Denja along the trail, and learnt a lot about Nepali culture and the area – and he was great at spotting animals and showing me!The guesthouses, meals and trekking path were all chosen really well and very nice and comfortable. My trekking package included food, and Denja always gave me a lot of snacks and fruit throughout the day and after meals which was a really nice addition and it was great to have everything included. Also the climbing guide chosen to help me summit Yala Peak was very knowledgeable and kind – and the tent set-up there was very comfortable (they r ven had a kitchen tent!)I only booked a few days before leaving and Anjan was so helpful, meeting me and answering my questions and helping me organise my trek very last minute.I would really recommend Nepal High Trek, their service is super warm and everyone I met from the company including other guides on the trail were extremely friendly and kind. I can’t say enough about Nepal High Trek, this was the trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend the Manaslu Circuit Trek. We were picked up by Suraj Tamang at the airport and brought to our hotel, where the we were greeted by a wonderful staff, that was ready to handle all our needs. The next day Anjan who laid out the whole trip for us. The next day we started our journey and were introduced to our guide Shyam Kumar Tamang, and our two porters Dorge Tamang, and Yam Bahadur Tamang. These are the folks who made our trip…Our guide Shyam could not have been better, he made sure we knew exactly what to expect from day to day, as well as made sure we were fed, housed and taken care of. Shyam, Dorge, and Yam made my trip so perfect, I can’t think of anything that would have made it better. He spoke good English, and is an extremely competent guide…he gave us the history of the different places we stopped and also explained the difference in the climates we encountered…he’s an intelligent and interesting young man with a smile that would warm and light any room he enters. Dorge , and Yam made it possible to have fun, although my pack wasn’t too heavy, I certainly wasn’t prepared to carry it the whole time in the altitudes we were at. Yam carried my pack minus my camera gear and daily essentials, which in itself got really heavy at about 4200 meters ( 14,000 ft.). Yam is 58 years old, stands about 5’2”, and is strong as an ox.I want to thank the kind people at Nepal High Trek, for making this trip everything I had imagined. A very special and heart felt thank you to my new friends Shyam, Dorge, and Yam, you are special, and I hope to do another trip with them.

Such an unforgettable experience I am still glowing inside with memories. Our 8 day journey with Nepal High Trek and our AMAZING guide, Suraj, and porter Darche, into Langtang Valley and up Kyanjin Ri & Tserko Ri was beyond what I had imagined.I am SO glad we hired a guide and had Suraj be with us, as many sections of the trail was sketchy and he made us feel safe. His 12 years of experience was very apparent. I am also SO glad we hired a porter, Darche as he had such a positive spirit, and we got to really enjoy the views without destroying our knees.It is not just a trek to see the magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains. The trek is truly unique as we got to immerse ourselves in the beautiful Tibetan culture at the villages and teahouses. The Langtang Valley trek is extremely diverse: we walked through dense green forests, many river crossings, suspension bridges, open meadows, narrow paths, stone steps, dirt roads, and snow up at Tserko Ri. We also met other trekkers from around the world and shared stories. We faced the physical challenges of altitude (thankful it was not bad for us). We felt the destructive power of Mother Nature at Langtang Village, as well as the constant landslides that destroyed the trails and made us take alternative routes for safety (due to the recent heavy rain).We definitely could not have done it without Suraj. He was attentive, calm, and always making sure we felt safe. Truly, Suraj, you were the best and we will never forget you! Communication is key for an enjoyable journey, and we made sure to let him know our thoughts. At first he trekked behind us, but we felt more comfortable if he went ahead so we can take our time with photos. Of course he was fine with that, and always made sure to look back to check up on us. I had a pleasure of trekking the three high passes in the Everest Region, with a brief detour to the Everest Base Camp, in May 2024.I trekked alone, guided by Suman Rai, an experienced guide with a lot of knowledge about the region. We completed the trek in 12 days. Suman remained attentive throughout, was equipped with all necessary first aid supplies, regularly monitored my physical condition, and ensured a smooth and safe journey despite the weather conditions. Both Suman and his boss Anjan, managed the logistics including, ensuring that we fly to and from Lukla the same day and staying in the best lodges.I would most definitely recommend Nepal High Trek and Expedition, this trek and Suman’s services to anybody wishing to avoid the inconvenience of group tours, enjoy flexibility, and go at their own pace, be it fast or slow.

My sister and I were first-time trekkers and were absolutely impressed with the service from the agency Nepal High Trek. The Langtang Valley Trek itinerary was well organized and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Communication from Anjan was amazing and quick prior to booking when I was just doing my own research. All my questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The agency was very accommodating in adjusting the itinerary to our needs which I was impressed. On the first day of arrival in Kathmandu, Anjan and our trekking guide Subodh greeted us directly and reviewed the itinerary once again and allowed the opportunity for any questions and concerns. I went to Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Nepal High Trek & Expedition with my friends. We traveled as a group of three from Singapore in Dec 2023. While generally considered “off-season”, we booked our Langtang Valley trek on a whim with Nepal High Trek just a few weeks before the trek. The valley was indeed amazingly beautiful with clear skies, comfortable temperature in the day when we were hiking (it was cold at night though) and certainly no crowds.We were able to make quick decisions to go with the trek all thanks to Anjan (boss of Nepal High Trek), who was superbly quick in responding on the tour package (which was at a very reasonable price) and to our multiple queries which helped with our planning. He was flexible in our itinerary planning so we could make the best out of the limited days we would be in Nepal. I highly recommend this company! Anjan was extremely responsive to our emails and WhatsApp messages, before, during and after the trip. He was extremely patient with my numerous questions! He also waited for me at the airport for about an hour when I had some unexpected delays. Anjan was flexible with us and worked tirelessly to ensure that us and his other clients were taken care of as best as possible when flights to Lukla were canceled. I just returned from a two week trip through Nepal with six other friends. We had an absolutely incredible time, and it was primarily due to Nepal High Trek & Expedition. We did seven days trek up to and down from 7 days Everest view trek, as well as a two-night stay at Chitwan National Park. For the Poon Hill Trek, the one-time fee covered meals, lodging, and guides, and the only additional costs we paid were for small snacks like Snickers and Mars bars we purchased along with the trekking route and beers at night. Anjan and Nepal High Trek & Expedition provided for us prime services as like a fresh fruit, quality food, good accommodation, perfect trekking guide, Hot water during the trek and competitive cost. We had a beautiful time. The one-time fee for the Chitwan stay covered our meals, lodging, Elephant ride safari, Jungle walk, canoe ride, Tharu cultural dance show, as well as pick up and drop off from the bus center. To say that Anjan and his team went above and beyond their duties is an understatement. Not only did they make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our trek and time at Chitwan, they also made sure all our transportation to and from Kathmandu/Pokhara/Chitwan was scheduled and that we wouldn’t have any issues getting to each city. Last November I did the ‘Three High Passes Trek’ with Nepal High Trek. From the very beginning I felt I was in good hands with this trekking agency. Anjan, the manager, answered all of my questions immediately (I was very short-term with my request for the trekking) and he organised everything very quickly and professionally.Anjan and our guide Pawan welcomed me and the other person of the group on the day before the trekking and helped us with everything that was left to organise and pack. They gave us very good advice of what to bring with us and informed very well about the whole trek and what to expect in terms of teahouses, weather conditions, temperature, and conditions of the path.Pawan was definitely the best guide I could have imagined for this trekking in Nepal! He is doing his work with so much passion, and he has a lot of experience as a trekking guide and knows the region very well! You can always feel safe with him in the mountains.He was very professional, especially when I got sick, he took very good care of me and always measured my oxygen level, provided me with medicaments and cared about my health condition.Even when I felt really bad, he was always motivating me.And on top, he is so nice and friendly, we had a lot of fun with him! We were singing and dancing and joking… he is not only a fantastic guide, but also a very good companion!Because I was so happy with him as our guide, I booked him for another trek in the Langtang region right afterwards. On that trek Pawan and me had no porter joining us, so he was even carrying my sleeping bag!On the first trek we had Mahindra as our porter, and he did his job very well! He was also very nice and also joined us on several day hikes.These two trekkings in Nepal were a wonderful experience and I will definitely book again with Nepal High Trek and above all with Pawan as my guide!

My friend and I had a great time trekking the Manaslu Circuit with Nepal High Trek. They made our experience the best from the moment we landed in Nepal, with our guide and driver meeting us at the entrance. They took us to a very nice hotel and helped us with our bags, gave us tea and drinks and made sure we had all the required gear for the trip. We didn’t have crampons, so our guide, Arbind, took us to a nearby store to make sure we were prepared. If you can try to request Arbind, he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of on the trip, whether it was lending a hand to cross sketchy mudslide areas or carrying apples and biscuits for us to eat at the tea house each night. He also made sure to take lots of videos and photos that he sent to us during the trip! The trip itself is a good challenge, high trek worked with us to fit our 11 day schedule and we were lucky in that we had a small 2 person group for the trip so we could go at our own pace. The company and our guide arranged all transportation, permits, tea house lodging, and meals/tea 3 times a day. Our guide also taught us things as we walked, we learned a few words and about the monasteries, local areas and towns and more. We got lucky with clear skies the entire trip and saw several animals from yaks to monkeys. The Manaslu circuit itself is mostly on a trekking trail, we were only on the road for the first day and it felt truly remote as we went from jungle to forest to alpine environment. Overall the Manaslu circuit was a great experience with Nepal High Trek and they absolutely deserve 5 stars!

I have done 3 treks with Anjan and Nepal High Trek & Expedition Langtang gosainkund Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek and Island peak climbing and Annapurna circuit Trekking 5 years before in Nepal. That’s was wonderful and lifetime trip in my life. Due to weather conditions, we had to change our plans and return to Besi chair and then do the Annapurna Base Camp with a few extra places along the way. My guide was Anjan and he was so helpful. When our itinerary had to change he was helpful, suggested other options and did what he could to make the best of a situation beyond all human control. Anjan is very proud of his country and willing to share all his knowledge and experience with his clients. In 2010, my son, husband and I did the Langtang Valley Trek with Anjan as our amazing guide. His knowledge of the area was extensive, including walking expectations, weather and terrain conditions, and the best places to stop, rest, eat and sleep. So much so, that other Trekkers called on his advice despite having their own guides. He was a very acknowledges an expert mountain guide. On the trek, Anjan was nurturing, fun and extremely amicable with everyone. He had a very endearing personality, and over the two-week trek, he became a member of our family. I highly recommend Anjan to anybody considering undertaking any trek in Nepal.
