This was our first time visiting Nepal and felt welcomed from the start. Communication with the Anjan was excellent and he was very flexible with last minute flight changes. We had the most incredible time with Arbind and our fabulous porter Tenzing. From airport pick up to the very end, Arbind never ceased to make us smile and ready for the day. The days were long and hard, but Arbind was always prepared with snacks, a pep talk, and a funny story to keep morale high. He was an utmost professional, even monitoring the pass weather and suggesting we push forward a day ahead to ensure that we were able to safely cross the pass! One day, my husband wanted to go to Manaslu Base Camp, so Tenzing, our porter (who is working to become a guide), took me separately to a lake! I cannot recommend this company and these people enough. Reading reviews before we booked, I thought there was no way they were actually that good, but turns out they were even better than I could have imagined!

Communication with Anjan was very smooth. Services and prices very transparent. Extremely reliable company. Our guide, Indako, was a wealth of information, appropriately safely conscious, and always fun and in great spirits. He had warm, personal relationships with so many of the men and women who hosted us in the guest houses, so it was really fun gathering around the heating stove in the common room from late afternoon through dinner until an early bedtime. Our porter, Tarche, was almost my age (65) and also warm and friendly. He hefted 20kg or more up and down without breaking a sweat.There are many companies to choose from—all the 5-star reviews you read for Nepal High Trek are well deserved.Langtang Valley is a fantastic and varied trek, an out and back, first through a forest teeming with monkeys with the roaring river as a constant companion. Then the Himalayas come into view and it’s simply spectacular. It’s not “easy,” but it was do-able for someone my age in decent shape with decent joints. Slowly, slowly you go as the altitude increases. Just challenging enough, I’d say.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience than I had with Anos and Tenjen as my guide and porter on the Annapurna Circuit. From day one to the very end, everything ran incredibly smoothly — no problems, no stress, just a well-organized and enjoyable journey through some of the most incredible mountains on earth.Anos delivered truly top-tier service the entire time. Every detail was handled with care, from pacing and daily planning to making sure I was comfortable, safe, and well looked after. I always felt informed about what to expect each day, and completely confident in his experience and decision-making. That peace of mind made a huge difference, especially at higher elevations. We have just finished our trek with Arbind from Nepal High Trek and had a wonderful experience.The teahouses we stayed in were cozy – I particularly enjoyed the fires in the dining room at night. Arbind also ensured that we had extra blankets at night, so we stayed extra warm in our room.The food available at the teahouses catered for our fussy 5- and 8-year-olds as well as for adults. Arbind also bought snacks along the way to surprise the kids when they needed a pick-me-up.The length of the trip was perfect as an introductory hike in the Himalayas. The kids found the trek challenging, but Arbind was always encouraging and helped to lift the kids’ spirits (especially as the 5-year-old pretended to be a car on a racetrack for most of the trek). Arbind also carried our 5-year-old’s bag the whole way.The trail was reasonably quiet (being the off season) and everyone we met (locals and fellow trekkers) were very friendly.Communication from Anjan and Arbind was always top notch.Thanks to Arbind and Nepal High Trek for a great trip!

Coming into this trek, we were all a little nervous; but, we have never been more blessed by a group of people. Our guide, Suman was the best thing to ever happen to our group here in Nepal. His knowledge, attitude, and character was central to our positive experience. We never felt unsafe or not taken care of. Our porters, Yogesh and DP, became some of our best friends. There was never a spare moment without laughter with our group.Throughout our trek, we conquered some of the highest mountain passes in the world and our guide, Suman, was always looking out for us. He helped us maintain a pace that we could recover from at such a high altitude, but also matched our fitness.Thank you so much Nepal High Trek for giving us the most amazing experience. Our experience doing the Three High Passes was incredible! Our guide Suman was so knowledgeable about the area. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend trekking with Nepal High Trek and Expedition. I went on the 4 day Mardi Himal Trek with my guide Anos who was an incredible guide. Anos was attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, very experienced and communicative (he is also very funny!). He repeatedly went above and beyond to make my trip memorable. The trek included accommodation, permits, transportation, food, snacks, and a guide, along with other things. I really appreciated the flexibility in schedule, timing and overall experience. I will definitely be booking with Nepal High Trek and Expedition (and hopefully Anos) during my next time in Nepal. 10/10 recommend.

We did the Mardi Himal trek, 4 nights and 5 days. We booked via WhatsApp and had all our questioned answered, we were also able to ask to have sleeping bags, coats and sticks included so we didn’t need to rent them. Our guide was called Shyam and we really enjoyed his company, by the end of the trip he felt more like a friend than a guide. He helped us understand the culture of Nepal better and was very good at providing snacks, moral support (when the trek was tough) and also amended the itinerary as needed. We walked faster on one of the days than initially planned so we stayed in a different tea house higher up and this was no problem. It was great that he was flexible and we didn’t have to stick to the itinerary day to day. He was great at taking photos too! We were able to order any food we wanted for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had plenty of hot drinks too. We had a private room to sleep in every night which meant we could relax in the evenings. The hike with Nepal Hike Trek was amazing. I have been to many different hikes in other countries with different companies but the service provided by NHT was on the next level. They will go the extra mile to fulfill whatever request that you have. The guides always made sure that we are comfortably settled down first at each lodging before they themselves rested.Ample guides were assigned to follow each group with different hiking abilities.Vibes 10/10More importantly the guides were funny, lively and always full of energy, making the tiring hike a really fun and enjoyable experience. I really enjoyed fooling and joking around with the guides. They also taught us many things about local traditions, such as dancing and singing, which we did many times together during the hike. I’m a beginner hiker and I was nervous about this trip at first. But the moment we landed at the airport, we were greeted with garlands and friendly reassuring hospitality from our guides and organizers. They settled everything from our transport to lodging, and even the most particular food orders. They laboured to serve us, not only leading the trek, but supporting us emotionally when we felt discouraged, allowing each of us to take our own pace while ensuring the safety of the entire group (took so much on the spot coordination). On top of that, their sensitivity to our needs was impeccable, making sure we had our meals before them, getting extra support if we fell sick, taking on extra loads, working overtime, and sharing about their rich cultural knowledge of their land through art, music and dance. We just returned from an incredible 8-day trek through the Langtang Valley, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the trip was flawlessly executed, allowing us to simply soak in the breathtaking Himalayan views.The highlight of our trek (aside from the scenery!) was undoubtedly our guide, Nabin. He was the backbone of our journey. Not only was he incredibly organized and professional, but he also brought so much value to the daily hikes. He shared fascinating insights about the local culture, flora, and fauna. He paced the trek perfectly and always checked in on our well-being. His sense of humor and stories kept our spirits high even on the steeper climbs.Nepal High Trek handled everything with ease. I can't recommend Nepal High Trek more - it's a great company.To start with, Anjan was extremely responsive in the many email exchanges I had planning for the trip and very patient with my many changes of plan, including the last one which was a flight delay that caused him and my guide to come to the airport at midnight to meet me.My guide Bibash is a gem. He is knowledgeable, super attentive, and really goes out of his way to make sure I have a rich experience - above and beyond what's called for in the itinerary: from finding good places for a taste of local flavors (local rice, fresh Yak milk, Yak Curd ….)，to an impromptu music session with a local host. He also has a very patient and positive spirit which comtributed to a large degree to my making it to the top of Tserku Ri which was a marvelous experience. Finally when I asked (after learning from fellow travelers) to extend my trip by one day to go through Sherpagaun which was not on the original itinerary, he quickly checked with his superiors and made arrangements, including changing his own plans, to make it happen.Langtang Valley Trek is a fantastic introduction to Nepal with the varied scenary and experiences, and I highly recommend adding Sherpagaun to the return route - it's really worth that extra day!

We booked a 10 days Langtang Valley trek with Nepal High Trek & Expedition and had an amazing time. The team is very professional & takes personal care.We were 3 of us and we had Nabin as our guide. He was exceptional. So good that by the end he was more of a friend than a guide. He took care of every little thing and was very professional. The most amazing part was the personal touch to every task. Also gave great advice he gave at every step. He understood every team members needs and made sure they are met. For example, I like to drink warm lemon water every morning before we start the day. I hesitantly told him on the first day and he made sure that every morning at 5.30am he provides warm water. Once I got injured and he applied band-aid from his first aid kit, then at Sybrubeshi took me to a medical shop for proper dressing. Twice we had accommodation issues and he instantly made some phone calls and sorted it in 5 minutes.Always jolly, at the same time very professional and takes his job quite seriously.We are planning to come back next year for the Annapurna Circuit and we will be personally asking for Nabin as our tour guide again. We also hired a porter - Siva. Another great guy. Good natured and humble. Always a smile on his face.The owner (Anjan) was also quite professional. The best thing about him was his prompt and clear communication. Remotely booking a trip in Nepal can be challenging and we had lots of queries. Anjans response was precise and prompt. Before the trip started from Kathmandu, Anjan setup a formal catchup in our hotel, where he patiently went through the details and provided us all the things that we needed for the trip (jacket, sleeping bags, poles & duffle bags)Overall we had an amazing trip, and its credit goes to Nepal High Trek. There were many occasions where we felt that things could go wrong if not properly managed, and this team managed it well.

This was an amazing experience; my girlfriend and I felt very lucky to experience Langtang Valley Trek with our fabulous and friendly guide, Surya, and are strong and helpful porter, Tenjin!The food along the trek was very delicious, especially the yak cheese! The hot drinks were also lovely; we often opted for ‘Mountain Medicine’ (ginger, lemon, honey). The tea houses were basic but cosy and did the job for us!Our guide Surya was very accommodating, chatty, patient, helpful, articulate and made our trip a lot more accessible and fun! Nothing was too much trouble which was a great feeling! Surya was great at explaining things along the way which made our trip a lot interesting!We were lucky enough to see a lot of wildlife so we would recommend this trek if this is something you like! The trek is definitely manageable fitness wise and our guide and porters were very supportive when wanting breaks if that is what we preferred.Anjan (the boss’) communication prior to our arrival in Kathmandu was clear, and it was very beneficial being picked up when we landed and taken to our hotel (which was amazing!).Our one piece of advice - other than to do this trek - is to bring a filter water bottle, as bottled water is not included and gets very expensive as you get up into the mountains.Overall we’d recommend Nepal High Trek, and especially our guide Surya and porter Tenjin!

This was my 4th time visiting Nepal. I had always wanted to do the Langtang valley trek and started researching companies several months ago. Based on their excellent reviews, I chose Nepal High Trek, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. First, their website was full of information and explanation of each day of the trek, what to expect, timings, cost, what was included and what wasn't included. My communication with Anjun was great. I had a lot of questions and sent him numerous emails and he answered everything very quickly. I booked the trip for me and a friend and made a deposit for both the Langtang trek and a shorter 3 day trek after.We were met at the airport by our guide Indako Tamang, who took us to our hotel. Later, we met with Anjan to go over details.Indako took VERY good care of us the entire trek, ensuring that we were comfortable, we'll fed, safe, and happy every day. He was always pleasant and happy and supportive. He got me to the top of Gyanjin Ri and Tserko Ri (and back down)! We decided to change the 2nd part of the trek due to the pollution in the KTM valley, and Indako was incredibly flexible and helpful in making a complete change, doing part of the Tamang Heritage trail, which was a fantastic cultural experience, and great walking also. I would not hesitate to recommend Indako and hope to return to Nepal to do the Manaslu trek. His knowledge, service, patience, and command of English made for a very memorable trip. I will definitely choose Nepal High Trek again, thanks to Anjan and Indako. Thank you for the memories!

Contact. Picked up at the airport, a nice welcome to a new land. Recommend getting an e-Sim for your smart device, as this was the only way we were able to notify the team at Nepal High Trek of our arrival. Our flight was late by an hour, apparently common in the region. It was raining when we arrived, and they were waiting for us. Strong start. Took us to our lodging and let us know when we were meeting next. These guys had done this before. It was obvious. Left me feeling confident for the upcoming adventure, which I admit being anxious about.Day 1: Kathmandu to Syapru Besi. A 6-7 hour jeep trip with a tasty lunch en route. The locals call it ‘dal bhat’, a veggie platter with rice, lentil soup, freshly fried tortilla chip. We spent the first night at a hotel right above where Langtang river dumps into the Trishuli river. Had I mentioned it had rained? This river was ROARing. Slept with the windows open. Slept like a baby. Awoke charged, like a hydro plant drawing from the river.Day 2: Syapru Besi to Rimche. Due to recent rainstorms, many sections of the state-sanctioned Langtang Valley trek were washed out by landslides. We are talking head-crushing boulders the size of engine blocks rolling down the hill. Large patches of earth, sliding down the steep grade caused by water erosion. Full sized trees uprooted. And we were in the middle of it. We were gonna hike in it. You know, like intentionally walk around all this dangerous fast-moving water on "paths" actively eroding into white water rapids. What could go wrong? Our knowledgeable guide, Suraj, took us on an alternate high road, north (and above) of the Langtang River. In the beginning, our guide wanted us to walk ahead, to figure out our pace. But we preferred he lead from the front, which he did, and without complaint. It's important to communicate with the team. For those trekking at altitude for the first time, be smart and take it slowly, listen to your body. It's a marathon, not a sprint. The spot our guide chose for us was a little downstream from Lama Hotel proper, but with a view, and minus the crowd. The rooms barely wider than two single beds placed parallel in a walk-in closet. But with a big shower, just below main deck, hill side. The kitchen with a charming custom-made clay stove, warming the cozy kitchen and dining area overlooking the valley. I was grateful for a rinse, hot meal, conversations with fellow adventurers, and a place to lay my head. The tea house is a good place to exchange trail experiences and tips.Day 3: Rimche to Langtang village. At this point, I am glad to have a guide who knows the lay of the land, as well as the tea houses worthy of visiting, for there are many along the route. In many ways, the guide is the subject matter expert on the trail. Guides also share info amongst each other, which is helpful when there is a wild bee hive further down the trail, an oncoming herd of bulls or donkeys, or a section that had fallen into the roaring river below. This was also the day the back of my neck got cooked crispy by the sun, so cover yourself.Day 4: Langtang to Kyanjin Ri (4,400m) Worth it. Climb it. Short but steep. The view is stunning. Get up there before the afternoon clouds roll in. I was anxious climbing, because it's a steep ascent. But if you take your time, you'll notice there are plenty of flat areas, as pointed out by our amazing porter and guru sherpa, Darcse. On the climb, I ran into someone who was also suffering from acrophobia, which made me feel a little better about my own anxiety. We took our time ascending, and the conversation made that mountain less foreign. Learned that when I slow down, the mind relaxes. Each step intentional. Perhaps a principle to apply to life. Both our guide, Suraj, and porter, Darcse, went up to Kyanjin Ri with us. I met other trekkers whose guides stayed at the lodge.Day 5: Tserko Ri (5000m) This one was a beast. Left at 0500 with headlamp on. Took about 6 hours to get to this vista, and through snow. Snow spikes would've been helpful, but our trekking shoes and poles sufficed. UV protection 'cuz you're fully exposed for the top 1/3 of the climb. Upon reaching snowline, gotta climb the snow (for 1+ hours). We were winded on the descent, which speaks to the elevation and distance. Knees start to ache, so switch up your stride. Suraj led, but Darcse came along also, just for fun. It was good to have the team there, if for no other reason than for morale.Day 6: Kyanjin to Rimche. Going down the valley makes you feel fast, comparatively. This is by far the easiest day of the whole trek: gradual descent, wide trails, open meadows. Darcse collected stinging nettle for soup; it was nutritious and satisfying.Day 7: Rimche to Syapru Besi. At this point, the knees were at pain threshold. The descent is substantial, and more local foot traffic. Wild beehive just above the trail. Suraj stopped ahead of us and started putting on layers to cover his head and hands. I don't think I would've noticed the bees had I been traveling solo.Day 8: Syapru Besi to Kathmandu. Jeep ride. Stopped for lunch at the same tasty spot, then down towards the city.Day 9: Ride to the airport. Pro tips: -Bring as much of your own gear as possible, and field test prior to this trek. This company does offer rentals, but for sake of comfort (and reliability), it's good to know your gear will fit (and won't fail you). -Stretch often. Prior to departure, during trek, in the evening. -Bring a filtration device (Steripen, Sawyer, probiotics). Consider the trash you will produce and how it will get down the valley. -Journal regularly, for you will learn much about yourself. In conclusion: Complete service consideration, from arrival to departure. Felt safe. Guide was within earshot the entire time.One feels more connected to the culture with a local guide. If your guide is good, he (or she) will be able to identify the dangers of the route and suggest alternate routes. Also, able to identify food and speak on local history, including the 2015 earthquake that flattened Langtang Village. We are most thankful to Suraj and Darcse for being ambassadors of their country and showing us the dangerous beauty of their Himalayan Mountains. Further, gratitude to Anjan for coordinating all efforts. Keep up the good work, Nepal High Trek. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing experience doing Langtang with Nepal High Trek and Expedition. The blend of culture and nature was amazing, we saw all sorts of different wildlife from mountain goats to monkeys. Our guide, Pawan, was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was super friendly and we learned so much about the local animals, plants, and culture. The relationships this company has with the tea houses along the way add to the experience as you feel welcomed everywhere you go. Plus the food was fantastic and we were never hungry. Our porter Tarjan spoke little English but was a friendly and kind person, we really enjoyed his presence on the trail. The views were jaw-dropping, the company was fantastic and the culture added a unique aspect to the experience. This trip could not have been any better we absolutely loved our time in Langtang Valley. I undoubtedly recommend the Nepal High Trek and Pawan for Nepal trips.

What an incredible experience my family and I had with Nepal High Trek. We brought our 11 and 14 year old children over from the US to see a completely different part of the world. Our guide was excellent and helped to make sure our kids were well looked after, and they went out of their way to make sure they enjoyed the experience. He even helped our kids spot a Red Panda off the trail, which both had said was a 'goal' of theirs at the beginning of the trek! Nepal High Trek was always very attentive and made sure we enjoyed our experience. I even consider our guide, Indako Gole Tamang, a friend.Just a word of caution, the trek is not 'easy' as there are long sections of steep ascents, so come prepared. It is probably one of the easier treks compared to the other treks offered by Nepal High Trek, but you definitely work up a sweat. All that to say, I cannot recommend this company enough! They wowed us from beginning to end. We felt valued throughout. Constantly encouraging and coaching us once we got up into the higher elevations and we started to feel the altitude. We've done many treks throughout the world, and we have rarely experienced the level of attentiveness and personalization that Nepal High Trek gave to us. We will be back and will definitely be using Nepal High Trek again in the future!

This was our first time trekking. Thank you so much for making it a memorable and wonderful experience from the beginning till the end. Communication was quick and efficient from Anjan prior to, during and after the trek. Our trekking guide Subodh was the best! I should have got a porter but Subodh helped me carried my bag and a few of my items during the trek because it got too difficult for me.Subodh was very knowledgeable of the terrain. He was encouraging and went at our pace during the trek. He always made sure we were okay and safe. His communication was great because he would keep us informed of what to expect each day of the trek.The views and terrain were beautiful. The food was great! The hospitality from the guesthouse was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend Nepal High Trek to friends or family that wants to trek here in Nepal. Their service exceeded my expectations. They treat their clients with the utmost respect.

We traveled as a group of three from Singapore in Dec 2023. While generally considered “off-season”, we booked our Langtang Valley trek on a whim with Nepal High Trek just a few weeks before the trek.[read more]The valley was indeed amazingly beautiful with clear skies, comfortable temperature in the day when we were hiking (it was cold at night though) and certainly no crowds.We were able to make quick decisions to go with the trek all thanks to Anjan (boss of Nepal High Trek), who was superbly quick in responding on the tour package (which was at a very reasonable price) and to our multiple queries which helped with our planning. He was flexible in our itinerary planning so we could make the best out of the limited days we would be in Nepal. Amazing! I booked at the very last minute and Anjan, the tour operator was extremely helpful and accommodating. With his guidance, i sorted out everything i needed and arrived in Kathmandu 2 days later. My brother and I did an unforgettable Langtang Valley Trek in December 2023 with Nepal High Trek and we had an amazing time! Nepal High Trek was helpful to all our questions from the start and attended to all our queries. When we made changes to the Trek dates, Anjan was patient and accommodated to all the changes.We did our Trek with Suraj and Surya, who made an exceptional and amazing team! They were so kind, patient, and friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable by checking on our needs consistently. Even when I fell sick during the 3rd day of the trek, Suraj helped me with my day pack on top of his bags. He explained a lot during the Trek about Nepal's history and geography too. He made sure we had ample tea breaks and consistently checked on us. For Surya, I'm also very thankful as he was carrying our backpacks, yet timely, he guided me down the descent whenever I needed help. He even went the extra mile to pack our sleeping bags in the morning as we needed help. We can safely say that they made a huge difference to our Trek as we were in safe hands!Overall, we enjoyed our Trek so much and returned home with so many beautiful memories and rate this trek 10 out of 10 stars. I traveled to Nepal with my parents and completed the Langtang Valley with Gosainkunda Pass Trek for over two weeks with Nepal High Trek & Expedition. Excellent experience from start to finish! I had a last minute change of plans and contacted Anjan with less than 24 hours to go. He put together a 5 day Langtang Valley trek for my wife and me without missing a beat. We had an excellent guide (Buddhi) who took incredible care of us.Reasons I would book with Anjan: personalized itinerary, experienced planner (Anjan used to be a guide himself), great guides, flexible planning, great value. Our 5-day itinerary included two private shuttles, 3 meals a day, lodging, a porter, and a guide for about a grand. On the trek, I didn't have to worry about anything. If I felt like I could walk further, our guide knew the best place to stay in each stop and had the valley memorized like the back of his hand. Also, on the drive there are multiple army/police checkpoints and I didn't have to deal with any headaches.This trek would've been stressful (or impossible) to plan myself and Anjan and Buddhi made my life easy and made my wife happy. Worth every penny. I would book with these guys again next time I'm in Nepal.

The trip was truly an unforgettable one with many wonderful memories made along the way with new and old friends ️☺️. Our wonderful guides (Mr Pawan Tamang and Mr Denja Tamang) cared for us throughout the trip like their own children/grandchildren, always attending to our needs and making sure we were able to keep up :) Our porters also cared for us equally by carrying our bags and being ever ready to extend their support if we needed any. Both of our guides were also very knowledgeable about the biodiversity and cultural significance of the places, sharing with us engaging stories and facts that allowed us to learn new things about the Lantang area which made the place truly come alive. They also shared stories about the warm people we met along the way, such as smiling grandpas who ran bakery shops or teahouse owners who served us warm food with tea/coffee/hot chocolate up in the mountains. Even though it was slightly beyond the Rhododendron (Laliguras) blooming season, we were greeted with beautiful Laliguras flowers with multiple colours that were still remaining in some areas along with many other wild flowers that dotted our path here and there. Both Mr Pawan and Mr Denja had very sharp eyes to spot wildlife and with their spotting skills, we were able to catch sight of many birds and animals that call Lantang Valley their home such as deers , monkeys , mountain goats , etc. (And not forgetting the cute yaks who would be grazing the green pastures )Thank you everyone for the wholesome trip ️<333

The three high passes trek was an amazing experience. It exceeded all expectations. Our guide Suman took such good care of us and I always felt safe and that he had our best interest in mind. He provided us with once in a lifetime opportunities and he felt more like of a friend then a guide we had a lot of fun together. The trek was very reasonably priced with all necessities covered. Our trek was 16 days with a few more added on both ends for travel. Even though it was the rainy season and we did get a few days of bad weather. It was nice not having it be crowded a lot of the time is was just us in tea houses and on trails.Sumans team was also amazing our porters Mr. Dipi and Yogesh were so kind and hardworking. Overall would 100% recommend this company and this trek!!

We did the 3 High Passes Trek and chose Nepal High Trek based off of other trip advisor reviews! We were a little nervous because we didn't know anyone who had trekked with this company before, but we ended up having the most amazing trip of our lives.Suman, our guide, quickly became a dear friend. He called our group of four girls "little sisters" in Nepali as we trekked, and we called Suman and our porters "older brothers." Suman, as well as our porters Mr. Dipi and Yogesh, quickly became our family. We felt so safe, cared for, and encouraged along our trek.Suman did an amazing job finding opportunities for us that weren't listed as part of the trek- such as having a dance party at the top of Renjola Pass, building us a bridge out of boulders to help us cross a river, and helping us tag along to a Buddhist pilgrimage in one of the villages. I would repeat this experience with Nepal High Trek and with Suman in a heartbeat!

We loved our trek with Kipa to Ghorepani, Poon Hill, Tadapani and Ghandruk. Kipa, our guide, was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a trek filled with gorgeous views and lovely villages. We did the Mardi Himal Trek with Indako in May and couldn't have imagined a better guide. He was incredibly flexible throughout the entire trip – we spontaneously decided each day how far we wanted to hike and where we wanted to spend the night, and he always perfectly adapted the arrangements. He consistently made sure we got the best available rooms and even regularly provided us with fresh fruit.He has 13 years of experience as a guide and knows the trekking routes in Nepal extremely well. He was also a huge help with the further planning of our trip. The many insights into Nepalese culture and Buddhism that he shared with us were particularly fascinating – especially since he himself used to be a monk.It was always clear how important it was to him to make the trip special and unforgettable for us. We booked a 10 days Langtang Valley trek with Nepal High Trek & Expedition and had an amazing time. The team is very professional & takes personal care.We were 3 of us and we had Nabin as our guide. He was exceptional. So good that by the end he was more of a friend than a guide. He took care of every little thing and was very professional. The most amazing part was the personal touch to every task. Also gave great advice he gave at every step. He understood every team members needs and made sure they are met. For example, I like to drink warm lemon water every morning before we start the day. I hesitantly told him on the first day and he made sure that every morning at 5.30am he provides warm water. Once I got injured and he applied band-aid from his first aid kit, then at Sybrubeshi took me to a medical shop for proper dressing. Twice we had accommodation issues and he instantly made some phone calls and sorted it in 5 minutes.Always jolly, at the same time very professional and takes his job quite seriously.We are planning to come back next year for Annapurna Circuit and we will be personally asking for Nabin as our tour guide again.We also hired a porter - Siva. Another great guy. Good natured and humble. Always a smile on his face.The owner (Anjan) was also quite professional. The best thing about him was his prompt and clear communication. Remotely booking a trip in Nepal can be challenging and we had lots of queries. Anjans response was precise and prompt. We had an amazing trek through the Upper Mustang region of Nepal which took 10 days and had lots to offer. Our guide, Suraj, was very friendly and had a catalogue of knowledge and facts at the ready. Paying a bit extra for a special permit into the protected area is worth it as the views there are unbeatable and the landscape is otherworldly! Also, my friend and I having Suraj to ourselves for a private trek really helped us discover the wonders of Upper Mustang. I would recommend this trek to anyone who is a passionate about nature, community and who wants to explore Nepal as the trek is rated easy/intermediate so can be completed by everyone! The most enjoyable trip I have done in a long time. The private 7 day trek to ABC was very well organised by our guide Buddhi and porter Ram. They were so patient with the two of us taking our time on the trek - they make sure that anyone can complete the trek. Buddhi’s experience was superb to pace the ascent to acclimatise to the altitude.The two of them took such good care of us - booking rooms, meals, drinks, translating, educating us of the local culture. We only had to focus on trekking and nothing else.The treks are well managed and can be up to 8 hours a day. Food at the tea houses are a great source of fuel for long days - all meals were covered along with fresh fruit (carried by Ram!) after dinner. The rooms are adequate for a good rest. Most teahouses had the option of showers and phone charging.Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a challenging yet comfortable adventure.

My friend and I completed the 12-day Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal High Trek, with Surya as our guide, and honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. But let me be specific, because "great guide" doesn't do it justice.This trek threw everything at us. Health challenges, difficult weather, tough terrain, and the inevitable curveballs that come with any serious high altitude circuit. At every single point Surya was calm, experienced, and reassuring without ever being dismissive of our concerns.What stood out most was his judgment. He never pushed us beyond what our bodies could handle, knew exactly when to rest and when to move, and managed the pacing of the entire circuit smartly enough that we crossed Larkya La on schedule despite all the setbacks. That 5160m crossing in cold windy conditions with soft snow was genuinely tough and Surya navigated us through safely.He also gave us space when we needed it, balancing group needs with individual preferences throughout the journey without missing a beat.Nepal High Trek's organisation throughout was seamless — permits, accommodation, logistics all handled without us having to think twice. If you're considering the Manaslu Circuit, book with Nepal High Trek and ask specifically for Surya. When things go wrong at altitude — and something always does — you want someone exactly like him in front of you.

I did the 7 day trek with a group of 4 as first-time hikers and I highly recommend Anos as a guide. Anos is a very nice and friendly guy and his service is excellent. He has very good knowledge of the routes and will always wait for the last person in the group to make sure no one gets lost. He is very entertaining and loves to share about Nepalese food and culture. We got to try delicious traditional Nepalese dishes under his advice. The trip was very enjoyable under his guidance and I would love to come back to trek at Nepal again with Anos as my guide. 10/10 experience.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience with our guide Surya Yba of Nepal High Trek on the 6 days ABC trekking. He was very helpful, friendly and funny! We had loads of interesting conversations, learning about culture of Nepal. When we arrived at tea huts he took really good care of us, he arranged the best rooms. We were hiking in a busy week and it seemed that the ABC accommodation was fully booked. When we told him that we actually really wanted to sleep there, he still made it possible. We are really greatfull. We’ll definitely book with same company again when we come back to Nepal for another trekking!

My girlfriend and I did the manaslu circuit 10 day trek. It was an incredible time. Sap, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and looked out for us very well. His local knowledge made the trip. Bishows, our porter, was great as well. He always had a smile and helped out the guide. The 2 were an incredible team and I cant say enough good things about them. The trek itself was as advertised and more. Amazing views, good food, and fun times. I do not reccomend doing the 10 day manaslu trek. We had to for time-off-work reasons, but you really need those altitude acclimation days. Stick to the full trek. Thanks to Anjan at Nepal High Trek, and to our team of Sap and Bishows for all the incredible work. Book with these guys.

I’d like to give thanks for our guide, Indako Gole Tamang, very hard working and always strives to give the best experience for us. He’s experienced in trekking, knowledge in history and very kind and charismatic. Even going out of his way to help buy gear at reasonable prices. This trip is worth the money and very friendly to novice trekkers. The land is absolutely stunning and vast. From jungle, forest, plains and tundra. I just couldn’t get enough of the views and the people, so kind and hospitable. For 7 days you really get close with your guide and other trekkers, coming from all walks of life. For this trip it was only 3 individuals including our wonderful guide, I think it’s a perfect size, doesn’t get to crowded on pathways and strengthens bonding compared to big groups. There’s also a lot more freedom and flexibility. Thank you once again for this unforgettable experience. I’d likely visit again and recommend Indako Gole Tamang.

We completed the Manaslu Circuit Trek in November 2025 with our wonderful Nepal High Trek guide, Nabin. We can’t say enough good things about Nabin and owe our great experience to him. He anticipated all of our needs and was extremely resourceful! Anytime we needed something, he was already on it. It was clear he had good connections and was always doing his best to make sure we had the best accommodation options. Nabin always had a positive and upbeat attitude, which really helped on harder days where we were feeling especially tired and sore. He was also very patient with us given that we were very slow and faced many challenges including issues adjusting to the altitude. We never felt rushed or pressured to move faster and he supported us through the ups and downs. We hiked the Manaslu Circuit Trek in November 2025– it was truly a once in a lifetime experience!! Our tour was 11 days (13 days total with arrival and departure) and it was the perfect amount of time to challenge ourselves physically while experiencing the natural beauty of the off-road trail.An unexpected highlight of our trip was our guide, Arbind! We met him at the airport when we first arrived and he truly went above and beyond expectations the entire trek. While we are not beginner hikers, this was our first multi-day trek together and he worked to adjust to our paces and check in with us at various obstacles. The evening biscuits and pomegranate seeds really showed how much he values the little things, while still handling the big items like our paperwork and permits. He coordinated well with our porter, Dolje, who made sure our extra gear always got to our lodging safely.I would recommend the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Nepal High Trek for anyone who wants to challenge themselves with some high altitude hiking, experience the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayas, and maybe learn some local songs on the Jeep ride back from the trailhead.

We spent 10 amazing days trekking to Gokyo Ri, and it was truly a wonderful experience! The scenery was breathtaking – majestic mountains, turquoise lakes, and beautiful little villages along the way.The sunrise from Gokyo Ri, with a view of the 8,000-meter peaks - Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse – is a moment we will never forget. The turquoise glow of Gokyo Lake in the morning light was simply impressive.A huge thank you to our guide Ramesh, who made the trip so special. He was extremely kind, caring, and reliable, always found cozy lodges with beautiful rooms for us. We felt safe and well looked after the entire time – both on the way up and down.We also had a lot of fun together, and by the end of the trek, our guide had become a true friend.An unforgettable adventure that we can recommend to everyone!

I was extremely satisfied with Nepal High Trek! I booked my trip 6 months in advance and Nepal High Trek was very helpful in the planning of my trip. Anjan, the owner, helped me figure out what equipment I would need to bring, and they provided the rest of the supplies that I did not have. From the moment they picked me up at the airport, my time with Nepal High Trek was enjoyable and accommodating.They prepared me with an itinerary of how we would complete the Annapurna circuit and outlined all of my meals and lodging (they pick out the highest quality tea houses for you to stay in along the trail). Indako, my guide, quickly became one of my life long friends! He made the trek fun and was always looking out for my safety. We spent a lot of time hiking and sharing our cultures, experiences, and jokes with each other. Some of the most beautiful and notable parts of our trek were coming across some mountain puppies, seeing Heaven’s Gate on the trail, seeing lots of waterfalls, singing & dancing, playing billiards on an apple farm, taking pictures of all the mountain flowers, hiking up to Tilicho Lake and back (best scenery of the whole trek), listening to music while we hiked, sharing meals together, grabbing drinks in Pokhara, meeting all the mountain animals, and learning about the annual hunt for yarsagumba (each year the Nepalese come to the mountains at the end of May to search for the rare caterpillar-fungus.We got to try it out!). We made lots of friends along the way and I learned a lot about Nepalese culture and the Annapurna Circuit. There was never a moment that I was unhappy on this trip. Compared to other trekkers, I felt that Indako and Anjan did the best job of finding the best accommodations and making the experience enjoyable overall. This was the most fun hike I have ever done, and I am planning on returning to Nepal High Trek to complete other mountain circuits!! We could not have asked for a better experience trekking to ABC and would highly recommend Nepal High Trek & Expedition. Our guide, Surya, and our porter, Rajinder, are amazing people and we had a wonderful time trekking with them. Surya was an expert guide who made us feel comfortable and at ease with his wealth of knowledge. He was also very flexible and accommodating throughout the trip. Also important to note that he is a wonderful photographer and took some of the best photos of our trip. One of the highlights of the trip for us was getting to know Surya and Rajinder and learning more about Nepal during our trek. We really enjoyed our trek Manaslu circuit with a super great guide Santa Gurung and a super great porter Dambar Lama. We had a marvellous time walking through the valleys, different sorts of forests, villages, historical monasteries and mainly beautiful mountains. We enjoyed the views and also every different sort of weather was interesting. Accommodation was great and we could also speak to the residents and try their local food everywhere.This company is reliable, kind and they appreciate their clients. I would highly recommend doing the tour we just finished. First of all, communication with Nepal High Trek via Whatsapp before the trip was very good meaning we started well prepared. Secondly, the price is competitive compared to other tour providers. Then the tour is also flexible, we could adjust it according to our needs.The tour itself is simply wonderful. It’s a great mixture between beautiful valleys, mountains and local villages. I will truly never forget these 10 days. Living and trekking in the Himalays is something I would recommend anyone seeking adventure, nature and culture.Then regarding our guide and porter: Sap and Kaidong. They have taken very good care of us. We’ve had a lot of fun with them the last 10 days. At the same time, they were always making sure we were having a good time and checking in on us. Like where do I even start on how utterly perfect this entire experience was? From the start, we were nervous as we had never been to Nepal before or done a trek of this length/elevation gain. Anjan made sure the second we arrived in Kathmandu and got settled that we met with him and our guide, Suman, to go through the entire trip and gear list.We weren’t missing any gear, but if we had been they had all materials available to borrow. From the first private jeep ride to Macha Kola. Our final goodbyes everything was professionally done above and beyond. Suman, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable, excitable, and completely badass. Our group had a wide array of ability levels, and longstanding injuries to take into account but there was never a time Suman lost his optimism and his laughter – even when we were too tired to speak. He promised to get all of us, as a team, up to Manaslu Base Camp and Larkya La Pass – both of which he did with flying colors. There was never a question he couldn’t answer about the region, he always provided the utmost service, and he’s damn good at cards.Even down to our incredible porter, Akkul, Anjan and his staff exceeded any and all expectations.Thank you, Nepal High Trek! I had the most amazing time on my trek through Langtang Valley and added Yala peak! Denja was my guide and he was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable on the area and trail; always making me feel super comfortable and very well looked after – he even helped carry some of my gear. It was so nice to get to know Denja along the trail, and learnt a lot about Nepali culture and the area – and he was great at spotting animals and showing me!The guesthouses, meals and trekking path were all chosen really well and very nice and comfortable. My trekking package included food, and Denja always gave me a lot of snacks and fruit throughout the day and after meals which was a really nice addition and it was great to have everything included. Also the climbing guide chosen to help me summit Yala Peak was very knowledgeable and kind – and the tent set-up there was very comfortable (they r ven had a kitchen tent!)I only booked a few days before leaving and Anjan was so helpful, meeting me and answering my questions and helping me organise my trek very last minute.I would really recommend Nepal High Trek, their service is super warm and everyone I met from the company including other guides on the trail were extremely friendly and kind. I can’t say enough about Nepal High Trek, this was the trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend the Manaslu Circuit Trek. We were picked up by Suraj Tamang at the airport and brought to our hotel, where the we were greeted by a wonderful staff, that was ready to handle all our needs. The next day Anjan who laid out the whole trip for us. The next day we started our journey and were introduced to our guide Shyam Kumar Tamang, and our two porters Dorge Tamang, and Yam Bahadur Tamang. These are the folks who made our trip…Our guide Shyam could not have been better, he made sure we knew exactly what to expect from day to day, as well as made sure we were fed, housed and taken care of. Shyam, Dorge, and Yam made my trip so perfect, I can’t think of anything that would have made it better. He spoke good English, and is an extremely competent guide…he gave us the history of the different places we stopped and also explained the difference in the climates we encountered…he’s an intelligent and interesting young man with a smile that would warm and light any room he enters. Dorge , and Yam made it possible to have fun, although my pack wasn’t too heavy, I certainly wasn’t prepared to carry it the whole time in the altitudes we were at. Yam carried my pack minus my camera gear and daily essentials, which in itself got really heavy at about 4200 meters ( 14,000 ft.). Yam is 58 years old, stands about 5’2”, and is strong as an ox.I want to thank the kind people at Nepal High Trek, for making this trip everything I had imagined. A very special and heart felt thank you to my new friends Shyam, Dorge, and Yam, you are special, and I hope to do another trip with them.

Such an unforgettable experience I am still glowing inside with memories. Our 8 day journey with Nepal High Trek and our AMAZING guide, Suraj, and porter Darche, into Langtang Valley and up Kyanjin Ri & Tserko Ri was beyond what I had imagined.I am SO glad we hired a guide and had Suraj be with us, as many sections of the trail was sketchy and he made us feel safe. His 12 years of experience was very apparent. I am also SO glad we hired a porter, Darche as he had such a positive spirit, and we got to really enjoy the views without destroying our knees.It is not just a trek to see the magnificent views of the snow-capped mountains. The trek is truly unique as we got to immerse ourselves in the beautiful Tibetan culture at the villages and teahouses. The Langtang Valley trek is extremely diverse: we walked through dense green forests, many river crossings, suspension bridges, open meadows, narrow paths, stone steps, dirt roads, and snow up at Tserko Ri. We also met other trekkers from around the world and shared stories. We faced the physical challenges of altitude (thankful it was not bad for us). We felt the destructive power of Mother Nature at Langtang Village, as well as the constant landslides that destroyed the trails and made us take alternative routes for safety (due to the recent heavy rain).We definitely could not have done it without Suraj. He was attentive, calm, and always making sure we felt safe. Truly, Suraj, you were the best and we will never forget you! Communication is key for an enjoyable journey, and we made sure to let him know our thoughts. At first he trekked behind us, but we felt more comfortable if he went ahead so we can take our time with photos. Of course he was fine with that, and always made sure to look back to check up on us. We also asked if we can start extra early for our hike up Tserko Ri (5am) and he adjusted accordingly. He always reminded us to go slowly, take our time, and stay positive as we were out of breath with the altitude, and I really appreciated that.We could not have asked for a better team with Suraj and Darche. THANK YOU Nepal High Trek, for a lifetime experience in the Himalayas!!FYI Trekking poles, good shoes and wool socks, layers, toilet paper, and a water purifier are a must. I had a pleasure of trekking the three high passes in the Everest Region, with a brief detour to the Everest Base Camp, in May 2024.I trekked alone, guided by Suman Rai, an experienced guide with a lot of knowledge about the region. We completed the trek in 12 days. Suman remained attentive throughout, was equipped with all necessary first aid supplies, regularly monitored my physical condition, and ensured a smooth and safe journey despite the weather conditions. Both Suman and his boss Anjan, managed the logistics including, ensuring that we fly to and from Lukla the same day and staying in the best lodges.I would most definitely recommend Nepal High Trek and Expedition, this trek and Suman’s services to anybody wishing to avoid the inconvenience of group tours, enjoy flexibility, and go at their own pace, be it fast or slow.

The scenery is fantastic, we go through nice small villages and can see their real life, school kids, farm workers, shepherds with goats, buffalos, sheep, donkeys carrying all types of loads up the mountains. In April the weather was mild, hot during day time, specially at low altitudes. At ABC the temperature was below zero at night, but as soon as the sunrises and you start walking you just need a T shirt.We woke up at ABC at sunrise to see the huge peaks all around us in clear blue sky. My sister and I were first-time trekkers and were absolutely impressed with the service from the agency Nepal High Trek. The Langtang Valley Trek itinerary was well organized and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Communication from Anjan was amazing and quick prior to booking when I was just doing my own research. All my questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The agency was very accommodating in adjusting the itinerary to our needs which I was impressed. On the first day of arrival in Kathmandu, Anjan and our trekking guide Subodh greeted us directly and reviewed the itinerary once again and allowed the opportunity for any questions and concerns. Subodh was an amazing and knowledgeable trekking guide and always looked after us during the trek. At one point during the trek, my sister was struggling with carrying her backpack and he willingly offered to carry it in addition to already carrying his own. We traveled as a group of three from Singapore in Dec 2023. While generally considered “off-season”, we booked our Langtang Valley trek on a whim with Nepal High Trek just a few weeks before the trek. The valley was indeed amazingly beautiful with clear skies, comfortable temperature in the day when we were hiking (it was cold at night though) and certainly no crowds.We were able to make quick decisions to go with the trek all thanks to Anjan (boss of Nepal High Trek), who was superbly quick in responding on the tour package (which was at a very reasonable price) and to our multiple queries which helped with our planning. He also waited for me at the airport for about an hour when I had some unexpected delays. My first trek in Nepal was great, all thanks to Mr. Anjan. In 2024 I completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek walk over about 21 days with two friends (we are all over 50 years old) and with Pawan as our guide. I just returned from a two week trip through Nepal with six other friends. We had an absolutely incredible time, and it was primarily due to Nepal High Trek & Expedition. We did seven days trek up to and down from 7 days Everest view trek, as well as a two-night stay at Chitwan National Park. For the Poon Hill Trek, the one-time fee covered meals, lodging, and guides, and the only additional costs we paid were for small snacks like Snickers and Mars bars we purchased along with the trekking route and beers at night. Anjan and Nepal High Trek & Expedition provided for us prime services as like a fresh fruit, quality food, good accommodation, perfect trekking guide, Hot water during the trek and competitive cost. We had a beautiful time. The one-time fee for the Chitwan stay covered our meals, lodging, Elephant ride safari, Jungle walk, canoe ride, Tharu cultural dance show, as well as pick up and drop off from the bus center. To say that Anjan and his team went above and beyond their duties is an understatement. Not only did they make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our trek and time at Chitwan, they also made sure all our transportation to and from Kathmandu/Pokhara/Chitwan was scheduled and that we wouldn’t have any issues getting to each city. Anjan even spent the last night with us for dinner at OR2K and took us out for some Nepalese sweets before our flight. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from Nepal, but Nepal High Trek & Expedition was absolutely one of the best trekking company in Nepal. I’m looking forward to my next trip back to Nepal and my next trek with Anjan and Nepal High Trek & Expedition. Last November I did the ‘Three High Passes Trek’ with Nepal High Trek. From the very beginning I felt I was in good hands with this trekking agency. Anjan, the manager, answered all of my questions immediately (I was very short-term with my request for the trekking) and he organised everything very quickly and professionally.Anjan and our guide Pawan welcomed me and the other person of the group on the day before the trekking and helped us with everything that was left to organise and pack. They gave us very good advice of what to bring with us and informed very well about the whole trek and what to expect in terms of teahouses, weather conditions, temperature, and conditions of the path.Pawan was definitely the best guide I could have imagined for this trekking in Nepal! He is doing his work with so much passion, and he has a lot of experience as a trekking guide and knows the region very well! You can always feel safe with him in the mountains.He was very professional, especially when I got sick, he took very good care of me and always measured my oxygen level, provided me with medicaments and cared about my health condition.Even when I felt really bad, he was always motivating me.And on top, he is so nice and friendly, we had a lot of fun with him! We were singing and dancing and joking… he is not only a fantastic guide, but also a very good companion!Because I was so happy with him as our guide, I booked him for another trek in the Langtang region right afterwards. On that trek Pawan and me had no porter joining us, so he was even carrying my sleeping bag!On the first trek we had Mahindra as our porter, and he did his job very well! He was also very nice and also joined us on several day hikes.These two trekkings in Nepal were a wonderful experience and I will definitely book again with Nepal High Trek and above all with Pawan as my guide!

My friend and I had a great time trekking the Manaslu Circuit with Nepal High Trek. They made our experience the best from the moment we landed in Nepal, with our guide and driver meeting us at the entrance. They took us to a very nice hotel and helped us with our bags, gave us tea and drinks and made sure we had all the required gear for the trip. We didn’t have crampons, so our guide, Arbind, took us to a nearby store to make sure we were prepared. If you can try to request Arbind, he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of on the trip, whether it was lending a hand to cross sketchy mudslide areas or carrying apples and biscuits for us to eat at the tea house each night. He also made sure to take lots of videos and photos that he sent to us during the trip! The trip itself is a good challenge, high trek worked with us to fit our 11 day schedule and we were lucky in that we had a small 2 person group for the trip so we could go at our own pace. The company and our guide arranged all transportation, permits, tea house lodging, and meals/tea 3 times a day. Our guide also taught us things as we walked, we learned a few words and about the monasteries, local areas and towns and more. We got lucky with clear skies the entire trip and saw several animals from yaks to monkeys. The Manaslu circuit itself is mostly on a trekking trail, we were only on the road for the first day and it felt truly remote as we went from jungle to forest to alpine environment. Overall the Manaslu circuit was a great experience with Nepal High Trek and they absolutely deserve 5 stars!

I did this trip solo so was a little nervous doing this by myself, but Anjan and his team were fantastic.Anjan was excellent in responding to any questions or queries that I had prior to booking. After a few days of sightseeing in the city (which was brilliantly organized), we then headed off by plane to start the trek from Lukla to EBC for the next 10-12 days.We trekked to the most incredible places that really showed the beauty of Nepal. I traveled to Nepal one years ago with my parents and completed the Langtang Valley Trek with over two weeks with Raj as our guide. We all played dice games together and had a load of fun but what impressed me most was Anjan’s knowledge of the area, the culture, and the trek. I did 3 treks with Nepal High Trek & Expedition Team as Annapurna Base Camp Trek in 2019, Island Peak in 2022 and Lobuche peak in 2024. The Nepal High Trek& Expedition has been an amazing experience for me. Every day we are surrounded by beautiful forests, gushing rivers and cascading waterfalls and gorgeous night skies filled with stars along some of the routes. Our guide and Porter were friendly and helpful and made our trek much easier by their cheerfulness and hospitality. I have done 3 treks with Anjan and Nepal High Trek & Expedition Langtang gosainkund Trek, Everest Base Camp Trek and Island peak climbing and Annapurna circuit Trekking 5 years before in Nepal. That’s was wonderful and lifetime trip in my life. Due to weather conditions, we had to change our plans and return to Besi chair and then do the Annapurna Base Camp with a few extra places along the way. My guide was Anjan and he was so helpful. When our itinerary had to change he was helpful, suggested other options and did what he could to make the best of a situation beyond all human control. In 2010, my son, husband and I did the Langtang Valley Trek with Anjan as our amazing guide. His knowledge of the area was extensive, including walking expectations, weather and terrain conditions, and the best places to stop, rest, eat and sleep. So much so, that other Trekkers called on his advice despite having their own guides. He was a very acknowledges an expert mountain guide. On the trek, Anjan was nurturing, fun and extremely amicable with everyone. He had a very endearing personality, and over the two-week trek, he became a member of our family.
