Early in the morning we will do either flight to Lukla directly from Kathmandu or from Ramechhap. During the peak season, trekkers have to use the Ramechhap airport instead of domestic airport of Kathmandu. You will have to drive about 4 to 5 hours to reach the Ramechhap airport. The distance between Ramechhap and Lukla is less than the distance between Lukla and Kathmandu. Once you land in the Lukla airport, you will be greeted by the rest of the crew members!
After a brief coffee or tea break in Lukla, we will start our trek towards Phakding. On the way, we will get our Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality permit. Overnight in a tea house
Today is the most joyous day of the trek even if the trek involves uphill trekking and crossing of several suspension bridges. We will enter the Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing the Hillary Twin Bridge in the foothill of Namche Bazaar, we will have to do the uphill trekking. The trail is okay but you will have to walk uphill. The first sight of the Mt. Everest is possible from the rest place few kilometers before reaching the Namche Bazaar checkpoint. Relish your stay in the major touristic town of Khumbu. The Namche Bazaar is the most vibrant town up in the Himalayas. The shape of the town is in horse shoe shape and offers the magnificent scenery of mountains like Kusum Kangaru, Kwangde, and Tham Serku. Early in the morning after breakfast, we will hike to the Everest View Hotel. Before hiking to the Everest View Hotel, we will visit the Park in the top of the Namche Bazaar. The park is the best vantage point to get splendid pictures with the mountains on the backdrop including the gorgeous view of the Mt. Amadablam.
We will hike towards the Everest View Hotel via Syangboche Airport through grassy meadows and bushes trail. The scenery of cascading hills and mountains will make you mesmerized! If time permits we will visit the Khumjung Village and century old monastery too! The monastery has the head of mythical creature the Yeti. The Yeti scalp is definitely worth observing. We will again return back to Namche Bazaar. Overnight in a tea house
We will begin our trek after breakfast. The trail is okay as you will have to walk downhill from top of Namche Bazaar to Phungi Thanga. After lunch, we will do uphill climb to Tengboche. This is the normal resting place during the Everest Base Camp Trek but we will trek further to Pangboche. The trail from Tengboche to Pangboche is easy as we will trek downhill to Debuche and walk on the flat trail. Upon crossing the bridge over the Imja River, we will do short uphill and short downhill hike to Pangboche village. In the evening visit the monastery and offer prayers. Overnight in a tea house
Today is the most iconic day of our trek! Early in the morning we will begin our hike to the Amadablam Base Camp. The trail is rugged and less traveled. Therefore, you might get lost if you don't heed the instructions of the trekking guide. Once you are at the base camp, you will be mesmerized by the surrounding scenery. We will have our lunch in the base camp and again hike back to Pangboche. Overnight in a tea house
Please make sure to inform us if you wish to do the Everest Base Camp Trek too while doing the Amadablam Base Camp Trek. The Everest Base Camp is just two nights away from Pangboche. If you have already done the Everest Base Camp Trek then it is not important but if you have not then you can do the EBC Hike too! If not, we will return back to Namche Bazaar following the same trail or via Phortse village. Overnight in a tea house
We will retrace the same trail back to Lukla. Today is the last day of the trek and we will enjoy the evening with fellow trekkers and trekking crew members! Tipping is done now and we will ensure that we have a memorable time together up in the Himalayas.
We will board a plane either to Kathmandu or to Ramechhap! A jeep will take us back to Kathmandu if we have to use the Ramechhap route if not directly to Kathmandu! In the evening we will attend the Nepalese cultural dinner and discuss the details of the trip. Early morning flight will give us immense time to explore the city as well. You can choose to do the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES visit too. Make sure that you inform our travel planners. Once you land in Kathmandu, we can do the Kathmandu Valley Tour before departing. It is one of the most popular architectural and cultural tour! Enjoy the local food and amazing craftsmanship of Newar people inside the valley.
