Sherpa is the dominant inhabitants of the Everest region. This ethnic group is believed to be migrated from the east so they are known as the Sherpa “shar pa”. Gyalpo Losar, mani Rimdu, Dumje, etc are their major festivals that are related to Buddhism. These people speak their mother languages and practice their own cultures.
