Starting and ending the walk to and from the Tamang village of Syabrubesi. Where walk leads to high hills and into a river gorge, covered in dense tree lines of rhododendron and pine forest. As the walk progresses heading higher areas to Langtang village and then at Kyanjin Gomba, located in the heart of Langtang Valley.

A magnificent country with a lovely settlement of Kyanjin having many good lodges surrounded by high peaks of the Langtang Himal range. One can spend a day or two worth the views as well for a day hike on top Kyanjin-Ri or Tserko-Ri. The high hilltop offers a wonderful panorama of close surrounding snow peaks of Langtang, Jugal, and Ganesh Himal.

Return journey on the same trail to Syabrubesi village, or one can spend more days taking an alternative route. The Langtang valley trekking can combine with high Gosainkund holy glacial lake, and continue walking back to Kathmandu.
