An interesting easy scenic walk on high ridges above the valley rim of Kathmandu. It’s a short family trek situated near Kathmandu. This trek starts with an hour’s drive to the starting point of the walk from a small farm town Sundarijal. The first-day trek begins uphill following the path through farm villages and dense forests to Chisapani.

A small settlement perched on a high ridge overlooking Kathmandu Valley and the snow mountain range in the north. Offers stunning sunrise and sunset that bathe the Himalayan peaks, next day follow the easy trail with ups and downs. Then reach the lovely hill town at Nagarkot which is above 2,100 m, and is famous for sunrise, sunsets, and mountain views. Where one can spend overnights in lovely hotels and resorts with glorious views of Himalayan peaks.

From Nagarkot, one can end the walk and drive back to Kathmandu, or carry on trekking to Dhulikhel old town. A low adventure of a few days, with enough time to enjoy the views of beautiful scenery and mountains.

Helambu Valley Trek

The helambu cultural trek takes you on the high hills of Kathmandu Valley’s eastern suburb. Starts from Sundarijal to Chisapani hill and walks into serene woodland and farm villages, as the adventure reaches higher around the mid-hills.

Langtang Valley Trek

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

Probably, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is the most popular and beautiful trek in Nepal. The Poon Hill Trek creates an opportunity to see the world’s tallest peak Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Manaslu (8163 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), and glorious peaks with charming multure cultures too. Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal Trek is one of the trending destinations in the Annapurna region.  It’s a wonderful short trek that takes you to the highest spot at 4600 m at Mardi Viewpoint. A short Mardi Trek begins from beautiful Pokhara city and a short drive to Dhampus Phedi. Along the trail travelers completely soak into a lush forest of tall rhododendron and pine tree lines.

Mardi Himal Trek is an acceptable and moderate journey that leads to the lap of Mount Machhapuchhre. As these types of treks do not involve high passes with a maximum height above 3,000 m high at Poon Hill. The rest of the walk is easier on low hills with short steep climbs and downhill.
