The trail climbs steeply through stand up bamboo through the beautiful rhododendron and bamboo forest up the side of the canyon. Occasionally the trail drops slightly to cross the tributary on the narrow bridges but ascends continuously to Deurali. Even though, we’ll passes the beautiful places like Bambo, Dovan and Himalayas. These places are most fascinating to discover the hidden elements of various vegetation of Annapurna Valley. When there is snow this stretch of the trail is particularly difficult because bamboo lying on the trail. The beyond the Dovan the trail crosses the stram and avalanche chute then climbs across the landslide. From Himalaya it;’s an hour's walk first on the rocky trail through forest then up a steep ravine to Hinko at 3100 meters. It’s called Hinko Cave because of a huge overhanging rock.
The trail crosses a river and a major avalanche track just beyond the Hinko we’l l reach to the Deuari. It lies between huge rocky hills. An overnight we’ll stay before heading to the base camp of Annapurna.
As the trail continues into the sanctuary it crosses the wide avalanche tracks on a narrow trail that huddles up against the cliffs. The trail descend to meet Modi River and follows the river to Bagar. The normal trail follows the west side of the valley but when an avalanche has blocked the trail it may be necessary to take an alternative route in the winter season. The normal trail will probably be open in September to November and March to May. However, cross the moraine and descend to stream the trail slightly up to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3900m). This base camp is the second popular after the Annapurna base camp and it has surrounded by numerous peaks too.
After lunch at Machhapuchhre Base Camp we will climb to Annapurna Base Camp. It takes a maximum 2 hours to reach the Annapurna base camp. It’s a pleasant walk, but the route can be hard to find if there’s snow. The trail follows a stream then climbs to a few huts alongside a moraine. Shepherds stay here during the spring season and graze large flocks of sheep on the grassy slopes nearby. Before reaching to the base camp the view is deceptive and it takes quite a while to reach them as the trail stays close to the foot of a large lateral moraine. Despite of tough climb up you’ll reach to the world’s 10th-highest Annapurna Base Camp. Where you can spend a night with the majesty mountains.
Early morning having a stunning sunrise view on the Annapurna Himalayas range and we’ll back down to Bambo. It’s much easier going down. Even if you do some exploring in the morning, you should have no problem reaching to Bambo in a single day. The trail descends passes through beautiful places like Machhapuchhre base camp, Deurali, Himalaya and Dovan. An overnight we’ll stay at Bambo and this place is extremely tranquil to soak into nature.
Today the trail is completely fluctuated reaching to the Jhinu Danda. As you descend almost 540 meters from Bambo to Jhinu danda. The trail towards inside the big forest and will reach the Sinuwa. After Sinuwa the trail descends to the Chhomrong river the steep up to Chhomrong village. Where you can take a rest or tea break then coming down to Jhinu Danda. So if you’re interested you can visit to the natural hot spring it’s lies at the bank of the Modi River. It takes half an hour to reach hot spring from your hotel and you can find 3 to 4 small ponds. You can take a natural bath and fun with water.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is going to finish today within half an hour walk to Samrung Hill then drive back to Pokhara. From Jhinu Danda you should walk down to Samrung Hill then you can catch up the local jeep to Pokhara. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Pokhara passes the beautiful villages and eventually get to Pokhara a week. If you’re not feeling tired you can walk around the Phewa Lake or you can board on the Fewa Lake.
