When one woman washed her hair with an oil from one of the window the demon thought that it is impossible to keep people under siege in the cave. He thought that the cave has many rations available for people to live. Thus the woman deceived the demon and the demon left people in peace.
Besides Chhoser Cave, there are many caves in the surrounding. These caves are believed to have been built by ancient people to protect themselves from any kinds of danger from the outside world. Moreover, these caves are the root of Upper Mustang people’s traditions and culture. Still, now the people of Upper Mustang firmly follow their values and rituals.
