After a hearty breakfast, you’ll begin your trek to Ghorepani. The trail fromUlleri or Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani is approximately 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) and can take around 5-6 hours to complete. The path is well-defined, with a gradual ascent that can be steep in some sections, especially the stone steps leading up from Ulleri.As you hike, immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into your teahouse for the night, enjoying dinner and relaxing after a rewarding day of trekking.

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village known for its rich culture and history. The trek is about 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) and typically takes 3-4 hours, making it a relatively easy day.The trail to Ghandruk takes you through terraced fields and forested areas. As you approach Ghandruk, you’ll be greeted by the sight of stone houses and local people engaged in daily activities. Ghandruk is also home to a Gurung museum, where you can learn more about the local culture and traditions.

Once you arrive in Ghandruk, take the time to explore the village. Visit the local museum, which showcases Gurung culture, traditional clothing, and artifacts. After breakfast, you’ll bid farewell to Ghandruk and begin your descent back down the trail. The trek back to Nayapul takes about 4-5 hours. The path is relatively easy, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery one last time.Once you reach Nayapul, you’ll catch a vehicle for your return journey to Pokhara.
