Starts from a busy Lukla town with a small airport named Tenzing & Hillary, after flying in from Kathmandu. The walk follows the scenic valley and gorges of Dudh Koshi River past nice villages lined with impressive religious monuments of Buddhism.

The walk leads to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, a name for Everest in Nepali, listed in world heritage sites. On entering the park, walk on a river bed, then on a winding uphill path to Namche Bazaar. The Sherpa capital and the hub of Khumbu offer many facilities for travelers as well as for the local villagers.

From the Namche route to Gokyo Valley the main trail of Everest base camp splits, heading first towards Gokyo Valley. As climb leads to a high scenic hill of Mong and then towards Dudh Koshi river. A slow climb into a gorge to Dole, from here the tree lines fade as the gorge opens up.

After a marvelous time at Gokyo adventure leads to crossing over high Cho-La pass at 5,367 m high. The pass makes the boundary between the west and eastern sides of Khumbu, a steep climb leads you to the top.

Enjoy the superb panorama of the surrounding high peaks of Cholatse, Nirekha, and Lobuche with Cho-Oyu, then descend to Dzongla. A small settlement with a few nice lodges, located at the bottom of Cho-La Pass, is a good place for an overnight stop. After a big day of trekking, the next day’s walk leads to Lobuche, a place with many nice lodges. Spending overnight at Lobuche on the trail to Everest base camp, next morning climb over moraine above Khumbu glacier.

Taste Your Boddy On High Altitude and leave your footprint to the lap of mountains

A walk leads to a flat sandy field at Gorakshep on the route to Everest base camp. From Gorakshep few hours of good walks to Everest base camp, enjoy the fantastic scenery of towering peaks. Overlooking close views of the massive Khumbu Ice-Fall and glaciers, after a great experience, walk back to Gorakshep for an overnight halt. Next early morning a steep climb to Kalapathar Hill, the highest point of the adventure at 5,545 m high. Enjoy an overwhelming panorama of surrounding giant peaks with a view of Mt. Return journey head to Namche Bazaar on a downhill through Pheriche Valley past Pangboche village with a climb to Thyangboche. Everest Three High Passes Trekking

Everest Three High Passes Trekking is an adventure, covering most of the beautiful areas from east to west of the high Khumbu region. A great adventurous as well demanding walk, especially in snow conditions on the high passes. However, an enjoyable adventure of marvelous thrill to experience facing constant views of snow peaks within pure mountain wilderness.

The Everest Three High Passes Trekking can be done with two options either start from west of Namche Bazaar. From Thame village onwards to Renjo-La and visit Gokyo first, or begin heading towards the eastern valley of Khumbu from Dingboche. Crossing Kongma-La Pass and visiting Everest base camp with a climb to Kalapathar before heading to Gokyo Valley via Cho-La Pass.

Most companies’ standard itinerary offers the eastern route first from Dingboche, Chukung to cross Kongma-La, the highest pass of the adventure. On crossing the first highest pass of the journey with two more to traverse over Cho-La and Renjo-La. The Everest Three Passes include Kongma-la 5,535 m, Cho-La 5, 367 m, and Renjo-la 5,340 m. All these passes offer mind-blowing views of towering snow peaks at close distance with Everest views of Mt. Reaching a wide-open scenic valley enclosed by an array of Langtang Himal mountain ranges, staying overnight at Kyanjin. The last settlement around Langtang valley at 3,800 m high, this beautiful location offers various exciting viewpoints for a day hike. Enjoying a wonderful time at Kyanjin within scenic Langtang valley, the next adventure leads to high Gosainkunda the holy glacial pond. Revered as a sacred site for both Hindu and Buddhist religions, where once a year on auspicious full moon time.

A colorful religious festival takes place, where thousands of pilgrims pay homage to this holy site at Gosainkunda. Taking a bath and holy dip, the belief is relinquishing the sin of a hundred lifetimes. From Gosainkunda climb up to a high pass of East Laurabinaya or Gosainkunda-La pass at 4,610 m/15,126 feet high. An exciting climb to the top, and then towards another beautiful country close to the Helambu area. Following a high ridge through several lovely villages with a grand vista of Langtang and Jugal Himal range. Then slowly ending the walk at the eastern rim of Kathmandu valley at Sundarijal, a wonderful place to conclude the trekking.

Manaslu Circuit Trek

 Manaslu Circuit Trek is an adventure around the high country of Gorkha district, within the Mid-West Himalaya range, the world’s 8th highest peak. The high valley of the Manaslu region was closed for outside visitors, opened in 1991, but remains a restricted area. Where all trekkers need special permits to enter the high scenic country of Manaslu Valley. Visitors interested in Manaslu Circuit trekking must join with government-registered companies, individual solo trekking is not allowed.

A wonderful trek starts with a drive from Kathmandu to the Gorkha areas around the low warm heavily farmed country at Arughat town. By the side of Buri Gandaki River, where walks follow right up to its near glacial source around Manaslu valley. Drive leads further at Soti-Khola or Machha-Khola, where the walk begins heading higher to cooler hills and farm villages. Entering a cool forest as a walk follows a high trail, reaching around strong Buddhist cultural areas at Manaslu Valley.

On entering a wide valley of upper Manaslu, views of Mt. Manaslu and adjoining peaks remain constant throughout the trek. Walking through the nice villages of Namrung, Lo-Gaon then reached Sama-Gaon, the largest village of Manaslu valley. The Sama-Gaon route leads to various destinations on the way to the Manaslu base camp and the Tibet border. As well towards the high Larky-La pass, after spending a few days at Sama-Gaon walk follows towards the west of the valley.

Then reaching at Dharmasala or Phedi the bottom of Larke-La Pass, the next early morning climb leads to the top of Larky-La. Located at the height of 5,106 m / 16, 752 feet high offers tremendous views of a snow-capped mountain range. From the pass downhill to Manang areas, at Bhimthang, and then to the road-head at Dharapani village. The next morning taking an overland drive back to Kathmandu, after a wonderful adventure of more than two weeks trekking.

Ganesh Himal & Ruby Valley Trekking
