The Upper Mustang region of Nepal is under the restricted trekking zone. Therefore, we must obtain the special restricted area permit from Immigration office in Kathmandu. In addition, we must also obtain the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permit. We will get the road permit and complete necessary documents formalities on this day. Overnight in a hotel

We will begin our Jeep Tour after breakfast in Kathmandu. The road trip is on the Prithivi Highway and it takes about 8 to 9 hours to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu. The lunch will be on the way. The road condition is bumpy and challenging in some sections as road construction is going on in this highway. The road from Mugling to Pokhara is smooth and comfortable. In the evening, you can stroll around Lakeside and enjoy the night life of Pokhara. Overnight in a hotel

Early in the morning, we will wake up and have breakfast. We will then head towards Jomsom. The first stop will be at Kusma where we will observe the longest suspension bridge and then continue our journey to Tatopani via Beni Bazaar. After lunch in Tatopani, we will then drive to Jomsom via Marpha village. Some of the road sections between Tatopani - Rupse Waterfall - Ghasa are bumpy and challenging. We will begin our day after breakfast! After routine check up of our vehicle, we will head to Muktinath Temple and spend about an hour in the area. After visiting the temple, we will again descend down to Kagbeni village and continue our road trip to Ghami village via Shyngboche Pass. The view of river valleys and caves on the hills keep on making us busy. We will arrive in the village in the evening as we spend lots of time taking pictures at numerous places on the road. Today is the day we reach Lomanthang village. As usual, we will begin our day after breakfast. The road is dusty and it winds up through narrow ridges, valleys and gorges. Finally, we will enter the walled city of Lomanthang in the evening. We won’t have time to explore the village on this day. If time permits, you can stroll around the village. Majority of the houses are empty because of alarming rate of migration. The settlement here in the village is in the Tibetan clustered houses style. Overnight in a tea house.

This is the most fascinating day of our jeep tour. Early in the morning before breakfast, we will visit the monasteries present in the village. After breakfast, we will visit the palaces and ancient caves like Chhoser cave. We will again return back to our tea house for lunch and continue our journey towards the Tibetan border. In about 45 minutes to 1 hour, we will reach the border. There are small markets in the border where we can interact with locals or buy the local as well as Chinese products at much cheaper rate. It is a long day of driving as we retrace the same road directly to Marpha village via Ghami and Jomsom. In the evening, we will visit the local apple farm and enjoy the time being inside the Thakali village of Mustang. This is the famous village for the apple farming. You can taste the apple brandy, wine, and apple products produced locally by the locals. While being in the village, we will also attend the local cultural program organized by the Mother’s association. It is the best way to learn about the local culture and traditions of the Thakali people. Overnight in a tea house.

Today, we will begin our drive after breakfast. After about 4 hours of drive, we will reach Tatopani. We will dip into the natural hot water springs. We will spend about 2 hours in Tatopani and continue our road trip to Pokhara. We will enjoy with the crew members in Lakeside Pokhara as it is the last day of the trip in this region. We will retrace the same highway the Prithivi Highway back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will be greeted by the agency official.
