Early morning depart for the short flight to Lukla and enjoy views of Himalayan peaks with Everest, and Lhotse as the plane lands at a small airstrip in Lukla. From Lukla a short walk of a few hours following a pleasant path through nice lovely Sherpa villages along the bank of Dudh Kosi River to reach the first overnight trek stop at Phakding village after an enjoyable walk.
Today our journey towards the massive Namche bazaar. Most trails are uphill and you should climb up around 8 hundred meters. From Phakding, the morning after breakfast walk on a nice trail with a short up-and-down crossing bridge to reach Sagarmatha National Park in Monjo a nice scenic village with views of Tharmasarku peaks. After Monjo enters Sagarmatha National Park and crosses over Dudh Kosi River to Jorsalle the last village before Namche Bazaar. The trail walk leads on river banks with a climb to Namche Bazaar. Walk on a winding uphill path facing grand views of Kongde, Kusum-Khanguru Mt. Everest, and Lhotse (weather permitting if it’s a clear afternoon), the route along tree lines of rhododendron, magnolia, oaks, and pines to reach a colorful and large village in Namche Bazaar.
At Namche, an acclimatization day hike up to Khumjug village or hotel Everest views. You will have a great opportunity to explore the hidden Sherpa culture, beautiful traditional Sherpa villages, and numerous peaks like Mt. Today we'll go to beautiful Phorste village and you should climb up almost four hundred meters. From Namche on a winding trail built by an old Sherpa named Pasang with a donation from trekkers for the good cause been on this job for the past two decades. After Kyanjuma the trail gradually up to Mongla Danda and it's one of the best places for lunch. After Mongla Danda the trail decen to Phunki Tenga river where the trail will be divided for Gokyo Lake and Phortse village. From Phunki Tenga river the trail ascent to the Phortse village and the village is overcast by Sherpa surrounded by beautiful snowcapped peaks.
Catch morning views of Amadablam with Tengboche walk through the rocky trail to Pangboche village with marvelous scenery. The Pangboche villages, the last second permanent village on route Everest base camp and you can visit the Buddist monasteries at Pangboche. From Pangboche climb to Somare a small settlement for lunch, then head for a climb to beautiful Imjatse valley where Dingboche is located for two overnight stops.
Our second acclimatization day at Dingboche within beautiful Imjatse Valley located on the bottom of Amadablam North Face facing views of Island, Taboche peaks with Lhotse and Nuptse mountain range. Morning taking a short hike above Imjatse Valley and Dingboche for the super panorama of high peaks with views of Mt. Makalu towards the east direction, afternoon rest and a short walk around Dingboche with many good lodges. If you feel strong we prefer to hike Ngarshung hill and it's the best place to discover the massive himalayas.
After a pleasant stay in Dingboche village, a morning climb to a ridge marked with Buddhist prayer monuments of Stupa and colorful flags enjoy grand views of beautiful peaks. From Dingboche, on a nice uphill path on the hard grassy meadow, a walk leads on a winding trail to reach a small place of Thugla with a few small lodges. After Thukla we will ascent up to Thukla pass (4900 m) and it's quite a hard climb up to reach Thukla top where you can see, many stone memorials of unfortunate mountaineers on an expedition to Mt. Everest and adjoining nearby mountains. Enjoying rest carry on trekking on a nice easy path of an hour to reach at Lobuche for an overnight stop with close views of Nuptse Peak, Lobuche with 6-7 nice lodges.
Your goal is very close and the mission going to accomplish on this day. From Lobuche morning on a pleasant path with a short climb as the route heads near the interesting metrological station on route Everest base camp through the Gorakshep. You can visit Glass Pyramid a metrological station, a joint venture of Italian and Nepalese scientists, to record the weather and the movement of ice and glaciers. From Lobuche to Gorakshep the trail is quite hard to walk on a high altitude through the rocky trail and glacier.
At Gorakshep, we will have lunch and leave luggage at Gorakshep then hike to Mount Everest Base Camp. The trail continues to walk above the moraine above Khumbu glacier and you should climb up almost two hundred meters to reach the base camp. On the way, you can see the majesty views of Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Lhola, Lingten, Everest, the massive Khumbu glacier, and Khumbu icefall. After visiting the Everest base camp we will back to Gorakshep.
Early morning climb up a rocky hill at Kalapathar to relish the spectacular Khumbu Himalayas scenario. The Kalapathar is the best place to discover Mount Everest and its stunning sunrise view on the Everest. After hiking to Kalapathar we will back to Gorakshep and then descend to Pangboche village. From here to Gorakshep and continue to walk on the same trail back to Lobuche to reach at Thugla, where the Dingboche and Pheriche trail joins, from Thugla downhill to the flat windy valley of Pheriche, walk for an hour on the scenic valley to reach Pheriche a nice settlement with the number of good lodges. From Pheriche walk at the end of the valley then descend to a river with the climb to a ridge top and then descend past Somare to reach our overnight stop at Pangboche village.
Today our journey will be a long walk from Pangboche to Namche Bazar. It takes 7 to 8 hour and you will have time to visit the popular Tengboche monastery. From Pangboche retrace on the same path past Tengboche and then downhill to Imjatse River with steep climb for some time to reach Shanasa villages and then at Kyanjuma and the eventually reach to Namche bazar. Along the trail you can explore theAmadablam and other peaks with Mt. Everest, from here on nice pleasant wide path to Namche Bazaar for overnight.
After an enjoyable time in the harmony of local Sherpa culture and grand views in Namche Bazar will head to Lukla. Today the trail walks downhill to a river and into Sagarmatha National Park reaching at Monjo village and having a short refreshing stop to continue the last-day walk following the Dudh Kosi River. As the trail goes through the Jorsale, Monjo, Benker, Phakdin, Thadokhoshi, and will reach at Lukla. Finally, the last climb of an hour takes you at Lukla, then check into a nice lodge with afternoon free for short walks and browse around Lukla town.
Morning flight back to Kathmandu with scenic view of Khumbu Himalayas. In the early morning, we're ready to go the Tenzing Hillary Airport and it takes 5 minutes to reach at the airport. You should be reached at the airport before half an hour. Also, the Lukla flight is very complicated due to the bad weather so you should be mentally prepared for an optional way back to Kathmandu. If you got a flight on time you will have to explore the historical and cultural Kathmandu valley.
