I was extremely satisfied with Nepal High Trek! I booked my trip 6 months in advance and Nepal High Trek was very helpful in the planning of my trip. Anjan, the owner, helped me figure out what equipment I would need to bring, and they provided the rest of the supplies that I did not have. From the moment they picked me up at the airport, my time with Nepal High Trek was enjoyable and accommodating.

They prepared me with an itinerary of how we would complete the Annapurna circuit and outlined all of my meals and lodging (they pick out the highest quality tea houses for you to stay in along the trail). Indako, my guide, quickly became one of my life long friends! He made the trek fun and was always looking out for my safety. We spent a lot of time hiking and sharing our cultures, experiences, and jokes with each other. Some of the most beautiful and notable parts of our trek were coming across some mountain puppies, seeing Heaven’s Gate on the trail, seeing lots of waterfalls, singing & dancing, playing billiards on an apple farm, taking pictures of all the mountain flowers, hiking up to Tilicho Lake and back (best scenery of the whole trek), listening to music while we hiked, sharing meals together, grabbing drinks in Pokhara, meeting all the mountain animals, and learning about the annual hunt for yarsagumba (each year the Nepalese come to the mountains at the end of May to search for the rare caterpillar-fungus.

We got to try it out!). We made lots of friends along the way and I learned a lot about Nepalese culture and the Annapurna Circuit. There was never a moment that I was unhappy on this trip. Compared to other trekkers, I felt that Indako and Anjan did the best job of finding the best accommodations and making the experience enjoyable overall. This was the most fun hike I have ever done, and I am planning on returning to Nepal High Trek to complete other mountain circuits!! I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking to get the best experience in Nepal.
